Silicon is a brittle metal, but, if there's enough of it, that really doesn't matter. You erect a new wall, covering the gate in the shiny material and fortifying the crumbling brickwork that surrounds the mansion. It doesn't take long, only thirty minutes or so, to raise it by about ten feet and top it with savage spikes and jagged, hard to climb edges.
