A moment on that, perhaps. Let the concerns of prophesy run their course.

[6] You remember...you remember that it was vaguely connected to the mathematical analysis of worrying situations, an instinctual connection of seemingly isolated points of data. Points of data that are subconsciously collected. Computed by your base systems and displayed in forms a mind can easily understand, especially given a lack of complete information. It's the same principle that allowed you to dodge the Infected firing squad, only not just applied to your personal kinesiology. It was never your forte.

[7] "I...I just can't tell anyone else that except you and William, y'know? I get scared that it's all in my head -- that I'm going crazy. My visions feel more real than my actual life sometimes."

"You're not crazy, I promise." Smile faint. "Just-- worrying. We calculate when we worry."
"You could talk to Cephie about it. She probably knows more about things like this than I do."

Emma looks relieved by your assurances. But her relief turns to annoyance when you mention Cephie. She tries to hide by looking down at the huddled masses.

"Yeah. I guess I could. I'll go call the council. Give me a couple of hours. I'll let you know over radio."

"...yeah, alright. I'll chase down Isela in the meantime."
"Take care of yourself, hey?"

It's just an expression, I assume. It would be good to talk to her about joining us in fighting our dear grandmother, though we could just talk to her over radio. Two Empyreals are better than one.

This war has been a right hell-- I'm ill inclined to throw Emma into the thick of it. Let her remain to prophesy in our stead.
She's our regent now, recall. What happens when we're both away? What happens if neither of us come back?

I don’t think anyone suggested Emma coming with us, that is dangerous, she’s already tired as it is, she needs rest

I was referring to Cephie, not Emma.

Edit: it looks like I got Cephie and Isela confused.

"Mmmh. I'll try. See you in a bit, Pheobe." Emma steps away, leaving you alone to watch over the emptying amphitheater. You let Lucille organize your meeting with Isela, waiting quietly. Within minutes, she emerges from the elevator, Eric standing at her shoulder. The two approach, bowing their heads respectfully.

"Mother Pheonix. I'm glad to see you up and about." Isela offers politely, smiling. Eric doesn't say anything, his willpower twisting uncontrollably, haphazardly.

"Thank you. It's good to be back among the living. I'm pleased to see that you're doing better as well, Eric. My first question is: what were the results of the mission I was sent on?"

"Good news or bad news?" Isela asks, calmly.

"Bad news."

"Fifty percent casualties, roughly two platoons out of the four platoon company died -- either when their hovercrafts were shot down or the attempted evacuation that followed. The Lt was one of the casualties. Two large hovercraft were seized by the enemy."

"Good news?" You ask, glumly.

"Two refineries -- and, thanks to you destroying that Hovercraft, they were unable to follow us back to the Fortress -- meaning that, for the time, we are still secure. And we have the element of surprise."
