Autorealm, then finish in MsPaint 95

...to produce enough fuel for extended operations of literally more than a hundred hovercrafts...? Some of which require metric tons of the stuff to operate? I'll clear out my schedule. It's possible, but I'll be working at it all day and only make a dent in the operation costs.

Iseala sits, looking at the map, and at the listing of troops and craft under her control. "How do you feel about a field trip, Pheonix?"

Didn't three said that we have to ration water now?
Three states after sitting quietly for a few minutes. "We would also have to begin rationing water and electricity."

It is an amusing idea... but impractical. We are of more use elsewhere, I should think.

Well, it was worth a shot, I suppose.

Water rationing hasn't occurred yet, the population is low enough that there's plentiful food, water, and light currently, as the structure was designed for many more inhabitants.

"First thing I would recommend we do -- send soldiers to seize and fortify Steelworks four and five. An entire corps split between the two provinces should be enough to lay claim to them. We can ransack their fuel supplies as well. They'll probably have minor refineries that we can use to create a supply line for food, but we won't be able to pull them back out if our fuel situation doesn't drastically improve."

Isela pauses for a moment.

"Meanwhile, you head to the former hydrogen district with a few of the smaller cargo carriers and a few platoons -- most of the stuff SEED produced is modular, so we might be able to get a few more refineries going. The Plague may also be in that area for the same reason."

"That is my recommendation as General, Pheonix, for our first moves."

"What role do you see William and Emma Thornton playing in this war?  Should they take the field?  Their abilities are similar to mine."

Isela may not know those two are [angelic] in nature... I'm not sure whether I care to push that point just yet or no.
Perhaps we'd best speak with the Thornton siblings on the matter. Find out how they want to go about this.

Nod. "Good start. Give the orders to claim those steelworks, and arrange a force to move out tomorrow morning under my command."

Now... when was the last time we properly slept? We may need to go do like our Thornton kin and nap awhile.

Nice, the Void Slayer is looking fearsome. My thought is that it's wasteful to have two Empyreals with our abilities pushing paper when they could be burning bugs.

So here's a thought, what if we can't make enough hydrogen to power our military, we might want to start looking at alternatives such as fossil fuels and natural gasses.

+1 To the plan.

On a whim, you describe fossil fuels and natural gas to the lead null. The man looks confused until you describe how it is formed.

"Unfortunately, this planet did not have a surface biosphere before SEED's arrival. The only native life is within the oceans, which we do not have access to at this time." He explains after considering the situation for a few silent minutes.

You sigh, before turning your attention back to Isela, who waits tensely for your approval. You make a show of looking over the map, of considering her strategy, before you give her an approving nod. She rises from the desk with a bow, heading out the office -- no doubt to muster her soldiers and plan the invasion proper. The null carefully rolls the map up for you, extending it out. You stick it into your coat and take your leave. Your empty bed awaits you in your quarters, and you drop into it.

[16][13] A dreamless sleep takes you.

[-] The bed is still empty when you awaken, rubbing at your face. The world outside the glass is lit by starlight, and you sit up to let your gaze drift over the landscape laid out before you. Snow falls over the jagged hills of the rim mountains. No one has bothered your sleep, so you rise, drifting into the showers to lounge under the lukewarm water as it sprinkles down from the showerhead. You dry off and get dressed, sitting on your bed once more to look out over the windswept canyons.

let’s only take what we need, food is limited

We should do something to help, maybe by assisting with building things, we need to do something of use
