Attempt to destructively overload the nearest reactor and funnel the resulting blast towards either of the two other reactors.  If the other reactors are in unknown locations, instead funnel the blast to strike as much of the plague ship as possible.

Peace. Courage. Peace. Courage. Peace. Courage.

If we die, we die in fire's bright comfort.

[9+1][13+1][10+1] You form the energy barriers required to direct such a blast, relying on half-remember formulas that Alphira provides. It's difficult to focus on all of this at once, your multi-tasking assisted by the Ballistic you took. You breath out, then, with hopeful heart, you reach into the reactor with your will, feeling the moderated thrum of energy that pulses through the entire ship. You draw it out, cycling it faster and faster until the heat builds within, until the emergency vents fail to fire -- melted shut as they are. It roils with superheated, compressed hydrogen, building, and building--

[17] It explodes with a sudden burst of energy -- and it follows the channels of energy outward, towards the other reactor. The room blackens with heat, and you begin to sweat within your armor as the temperature spikes to incredible temperatures. You shut your eyes against the beam, which burns at them even through the lenses of the mask.

You stagger, breathing hard, smelling iron, but stay standing. Something screams, but the sound is distant and weak after the noise of the reactor ripping itself apart.Where the first reactor was is nothing but a glassy colored crater in the flesh of the Levithan. Veins and tubes dripping liquid water and coolant to collect at the bottom.

A massive gouge, taller than you and wider than you are tall, is scored through many hallways and corridors, down into another chamber where the faint glow of another fusion reactor is visible. Scorched and burned insects twitch feebly, trying to drag themselves to you, but succumbing to their wounds.

You move towards the next --

[12+1 vs 5] [d:3/2] You pivot towards a sound, peeling your SMG off your chest and laying into the collection of writhing tentacle blades that tries to rend you to shreds. It screeches as chunks of its tainted flesh explode into superheated steam. The automatic fire tears it apart, and you continue on your path--

[2+1 vs 7] [hl:13]You wince as something knocks you back, cracking your armor too close for comfort near a sensitive area. You glare through your mask.

[15+1 vs 11][d:1/1] You spray the creature with automatic las-gun fire -- and it collapses when a few of the many misplaced shots hit it.

You're at the second reactor now, and you prepare yourself once more.

[4+1][6+1][8+1] You math is sloppier, rougher, as you try to use a shortcut-- and it's too late you realize what you've done. The next reactor explodes before you finish putting up the energy to direct it. The explosion knocks you back, burning hot energy washing over you--

[1] You black out.

[-] Pain registers for a moment when you hit something. [Oxygen...cycl--]

You open your eyes, trying to struggle-- only to feel a great weight pushing down on you. You can see nothing-- and you try to lift your hand-- nothing happens. Your lungs still fill, greedily sucking in the oxygen from your mask-- you're wet, you realize.

Then it strikes you, as your consciousness comes back into focus.

You're on the bottom of the ocean--

Lucille. Diagnostic.

[Emergency Power Saving Mode-- priority hazardous condition life support. Estimated time remaining: Twenty-three hours. This message will not repeat.]

A small dim display flashes on your hud, the only light in the dark--

Try to get a sense of what injuries are present and the current level of hunger.

Producing hydrogen gas from the freely available water would be one way to lift ourselves up.

[5] Nothing responds when you attempt to move-- with the added light from the display you can see a little bit. The water around you is a brownish-red, but there's a faint stream of darker red coming from your side. Your head and neck ache painfully. You try to wiggle your toes and can only feel a faint twitch in response. You're unsure of how hungry you are.

Everything feels numb from the top of your chest down.

Attempt to use hydrogen manipulation to slowly lift ourselves through the production of hydrogen gas, just a bit to see if it's possible.  Don't move, just hone our will.

[13][19][10] The smell of iron fills your nostrils as you try and try to activate healing surge -- You scream in pain when it suddenly activates. Your shattered spine and fractured skull knit themselves back together, allowing you to feel charred and wasted flesh beneath the armor. Then that too sends pain through your entire system as it flakes and heals.

Sensation returns as you stifle your pained sobs by biting your lip. You have to stop yourself from hyperventilating when the timer begins to flash in warning of your continued action. Pain burns through your head-- and your armor is far heavier than you think you've ever felt it be.

[17] Its a struggle that makes your muscles burn in pain as you rise to your feet. You look down, noting that nothing remains of your equipment besides pieces of charred and melted plastic stuck to your armor. You flex a gloved hand, feeling the resistance. The undersuit is gone too, and what remains of the shield is burned to the chest of your armor.

Your stomach cramps with hunger and you feel weak.

The Ocean floor here is bland, with rust-colored sediment and silt up to your ankle. A few red and green plants wiggle in the very gentle current.

You lift a leg-- and almost swear. Even with the pressure pushing down on you from above, there's no way your armor should be this heavy.

You feel like it is a very bad idea to remove your face mask while beneath the ocean.
