That'll work, aye.

One last question, then: do we want to let Rekhyt know what we're about to do? On the one hand, he may have something pressing we've not considered-- on the other hand, I'd rather not be overheard.

Hmm... I'm not sure...  It probably couldn't hurt to ask, I think.

The plan so far sounds good, also I say we whisper the plan to Rekhyt so he can help with it, because team work makes the dream work.

If slavery is illegal, saying we purchased them isn’t a good idea

Good news everyone! I don't have the 'rona. Bad news, back to the daily grind.
I updated the previous one to include the mask. I apologize if that caused an issue.

"Say, healer. Doctor is a Holyland thing." Rekhyt advises, then nods, hus expression hidden behind his mask. He withdraws a las-pistol and adjusts himself subtly to provide cover. You take a deep breath, letting your willpower drift out.

[-] Two guards drop to the ground as the water within their brains suddenly turns to hydrogen and oxygen. The others shift in confusion, glancing away from the crowd to turn their attentions to the bodies-- then they move to try and assist their dying comrades. Muffled and quiet conversation breaks out. The pews, however, remained quiet.

"Three gold for --" The man on the stage falters, confused, stopping mid-sale. "Ah. Excuse us-- one moment. Sorry for the delay." He hopes down, striding over to the dead guards to nudge at one with a boot.

You rise, calling out, "I'm a healer-- let me see them."

[2] Subterfuge isn't your strong suit. Guns level at you instantly as you make yourself very suspicious in a very short amount of time. The other customers only shift in their seats and crane their necks to examine the scene. Interested only in the drama, no doubt. The lead slaver waves you away, "Go sit back down-- do not approach the stage. We'll deal with this."

You hesitate— Rekhyt shifts.

Your hunger is unaffected. Splitting hydrogen and oxygen, at this point, is rote, and the only difficulty comes in the shifting pulsing meat jelly that is the human brain. That, and you are currently incredibly unskilled with this form of killing.

It seems like we could just sit down and repeat the process until they are all dead.  Unless someone has another plan?

You should put fear into everyone here.  Make them dread coming to another one of these.  Kill some of the crowd with brain death as well, make them see they are not the audience but actors as well.  Then when panic ensues make a controlled detonation of the lasguns of the guards and take them out.  Should shut these things down a bit for a while if the buyers fear showing up.

I would hesitate to kill members of the crowd, who haven't necessarily done anything wrong...

We could make out who was doing the buying maybe?

Whichever way not really super concerned about it.

I wouldn't have a problem with targeting the buyers.  Sit down.  Are the guards far enough away from the slaves for a las-gun explosion to not hurt the slaves?

I'm all for blowing up the minds of slave buyers and the guards. Also go for blowing up the guards guns.

[-] ...they're in the splash zone. Shrapnel could be an issue.

You reclaim your seat and glance at Rekhyt, who gives a shrug of his shoulders. "Worth a shot. We might have to try something a bit more straightforward -- unless you have another idea?" He whispers with a frown.

What do you have in mind for being more straightforward? Whispered to Rekhyt, of course
