It looks like we can barely move.  Rather than attempt to swim, let's use our will instead.  In addition, I would recommend holding off on any further healing.  It's better to be wounded and dry than healthy but exhausted and stuck at the bottom of the ocean.

Attempt to produce a small amount of hydrogen gas inside our armor to slowly lift us up.

Our spine was a ruinous mess-- that, I wanted fixed. This is better.

[10] In the little pockets that can support it you split the water into hydrogen. In your boots, in the space between your chest and the breastplate, in your gloves. Anywhere besides the face mask. It also bubbles around you, providing you the lift you need to swim to the surface. You muscles ache when you finally breach the surface, the counter vanishing--

By the light of the stars, you see it overhead. The Levithan. It's crippled, half of its body pitched forward, dangling by exposed bone and damaged sinew. The entire middle of the beast is exposed, showing corridors between pulsing organs and machinery. The infected hovercrafts that were its escort are nowhere to be seen.

The shore is a long swim away, but you're in Plague territory.

The timer vanishes as you start swimming that way, Lucille finally making her presence known. The weight of your armor decreases dramatically. Your stomach cramps less, and the swim becomes easier.

Algae tends to be near the surface too, for photosynthesis, they are plants

You swim closer to shore, diving down towards the gentle sloping of the sand and silt settled against the craggy cliffs. You rip the sea weed from the bottom in great clumps. Then you rise, shoving it into your mouth and chewing the fibrous, slimy material. It doesn't do much to relieve your hunger, but its a start. You debate eating some of the clumps of algae that float lazily on the surface, and decide to.

For the most part, it's slightly salty water, but you've probably managed to snag a few more calories -- although you wonder if the energy exchange of swimming to it and eating it is worth what you get from it.

Mother, begin cannibalizing vestigial tissue, such as the appendix and tailbone, to produce calories.

It's always an option when needs must.  Since we can regenerate lost tissue, it might be worthwhile in case we find enemies waiting for us on land.

[15]As horrific as it sounds, the Good Doctor is correct -- it is a precedent for our kind. We could cannibalize an arm while we are at it, not like we have any weapons-- the pain and trauma will be immense, but our body is a weapon for our mind to inhabit.

One more personality authorization required. I will also devour some of our fat stores and marrow to provide more nutrients and calories for continued operation.

I don’t think eating ourself is a good idea, however any animals we find are likely plague infected, so that;s a no go, I suppose we can probably get by on one arm
