(I am REALLY wanting to have One-Eye jack have a doubletake, and question Burt about his age with a worried, sweaty expression. LOL)

Dolo lumbers through the village square, looking at all the pretty things for sale! Shiny shiny! He heads to the Smithy first, seemingly attracted to the sound of metal on metal.

Back to the lobby, it seemed no one from the adventurer group was here.

Heh, fine. let's have some conversation with the caretaker.
Since Laemmle is proceeding too into the caretaker and also meet her.

"Oh, hi. Are you one of fellow adventurer the came here too?

Nice to meet you, sister. I'm Laemmle."
Greeting Linea with a smile on her gesture.

There was something strange about this female paladin. Her demeanor showed the lack of fluidity and grace as if she was facing a strange creature she had never seen before. And also why did she call her sister? Not that she disliked, it but no one other than her mentor Jazdia ever called her in such a manner. It was both amusing and weird.

"Oh hello there," she replied, smiling as polite as possible. "Well, you could say that"

Being a practitioner of stealth herself, Dixie couldn't help but notice two unique pairs of eyes watching from behind one of the houses. She glances at the two gossiping girls and winks.

((Not all actions have been processed yet))
((Some actions may take longer than others to be processed, in which case it may take until the end of the turn))

Jack Flush wanders about, finds the visitor boarding house, and starts trying to gamble with anyone that’ll play.

Whilst wandering about, Jack Flush finds a gold piece on the ground. [Jack Flush gains 1 Gold Piece]

Entering the visitor boarding house, it seems mostly vacant, aside from the other adventurers. Suddenly, a piece of the ceiling breaks and falls down inches away from Jack. It seems that some repairs may be needed...

Raine Briardance decided to take some time to look around the town. She would also use her flight ability to fly upwards to get a bird's eye view of the town. From directly above the town, she would check for any landmarks in the forest if there were any that were large enough to not be obscured by the numerous trees...

The distance is largely covered in fog, though a tall and mysterious structure looms in the distance to the north-west, just barely discernable through the mist.

The further distances are even more obscure, as the forest seems to stretch out into the horizon where fog blends with cloud.

Dularach begins the day by approaching the man with a polearm asking a bit about the beast that have been attacking the village, after which he decides to get a drink and enjoy a few huffs from his pipe, once it starts getting dark he finds a nice place near the edge of the village to burrow underground and creating a place to rest similar to what a trapdoor spider does

The man with the polearm explains that the creatures have been attacking the village at unpredictable hours, but also at a high frequency. The last ones that attacked came this morning, a small band of bloodthirsty gnolls. The attackers don't ever seem to have much of a plan, even for beasts, as if they were being compelled by some force other than themselves.

Dularach also learns that the man's name is Vasco Drakon and that he's been at the village for over 5 years. This phenomenon is indeed strange, as he had never witnessed anything like it before.

Dolo lumbers through the village square, looking at all the pretty things for sale! Shiny shiny! He heads to the Smithy first, seemingly attracted to the sound of metal on metal.

A man is working at the forge, wiping his sweat every so often. He sees Dolo enter and raises an eyebrow, then relaxes into a friendly posture.
"You must be one of the adventurers here to help us! Please, feel free to look around." He gestures to the assortment of weapons and armor all around the room, including blades, hammers, spears, and other metalcrafts.

He will also do Detect Forest Intruder checks at regular intervals. (~ every 30 min)

Rustling deep into the woods, the sound of footstep similar to humans with bare feet? Grew closer and closer. A creature wandering around from shadow notices someone had discovered it's presence. It crawled slowly into the light towards the person who was detecting it's mere existence.

It stood idly for some time.

The ironclad slayer checked the surroundings first, checking for a sign if there where greenskin's snooping around. When he found footsteps around village where the villagers wouldn't normally walk to. He immediately suspected greenskins. Not surprising since the village seems vulnerable to such attack considering there are no walls.

"WHERE ARE THE WALLS!?" He cried while approaching the nearest townsguard he can find.

The surroundings contain evidence of much violence and struggles; blood spattered on the ground and shredded pieces of gear in various places. A variety of different types of footprints, human and non-human can be seen in the dirt. It's not entirely unlikely that some of them belonged to Greenskins.

The Greenskins Holocaust approaches the man who looks most like a townguard, the older man with the pole-arm, as he yells about the lack of walls.

"Err, hello there. We haven't had much time to put up a good barricade around the village. It's been difficult enough trying to fend them off and taking care of our own. That sounds like an excellent idea though, it would be much easier to defend against the raids that have been happening all the time."

Being a practitioner of stealth herself, Dixie couldn't help but notice two unique pairs of eyes watching from behind one of the houses. She glances at the two gossiping girls and winks.

Realizing that they've been seen, the girls become mildly alarmed, as they look to each other and quickly retreat further behind the house and out of Dixie's sight for the time being.

After that whole speech at the village square, Dixie heads to the Visitor Boarding House to take a rest, as she has traveled for quite a while now. How many hours has it been? Good thing that giant eagles can fly fast.

Dixie sees Jack (the younger, more properly dressed Jack, not the one-eyed one) and the eventual ceiling collapse that happened near him. She makes a mental note of this event for a future reference.

Reaching her room that coincidentally is beside Linea's, Dixie goes in and tosses her bag and then herself at the bed, face up. She then turns her head around, looking for anything odd or mildly interesting in the room.

Spoiler: Nightmare Fuel (click to show/hide)
It stood idly for some time.

Jack's remaining eye spasmed wildly, dilating to near complete blackness, before constricting to a needle point, as the lower lid fluttered wildly.  It happened every time he was being actively hunted, and this time, whatever it was on the other end, clearly had detected him casting his senses deep into the woods out of instinct.

Hardly missing a breath, his pulse thundered in his ears as he subtly changed his circuitous path around the village, heading for the nearest useful (and climbable) bit of cover he could find, while readying his bow...

Taking a seat on the ground, with his back against the corner one of the village buildings, he kept his inner senses trained on the intruder, never losing track of its vector and bearing. He could detect danger literally a mile away, but not an exact position. Not this far.  He could tell only a few things.. It was close; How it got this close so quickly he couldn't tell. Exactly "what" it was, he could not tell.  Only that it scored "high" as a threat, that it was not a wild animal, and probably not a person, and that it was strong and dangerous.

What manner of horror had these fools in this tatty little town unleashed?

Deep inside, he suspected the villagers in some way probably deserved to be troubled by something so unnatural and relentless; The actions most humans took in forests were of much the same caliber (just out of mindless disregard).  This was.. 'Focused' and 'willful' though.  Intelligent, like a person, but not.  The forest did not deserve to be troubled by such a thing. For the most part, animals hurt no-one, and simply wish to be, and be left alone.  This thing? It cared nothing for the simple equilibrium of these woods. It made Jack fume.

A very nasty scowl dominated his stony silent expression, as he sat and waited, bow drawn,

---but the creature had stopped advancing.

Unsure what else to do, Jack stayed where he was; Crouched behind the cover of the building's corner, bow drawn, arrow knocked, with his back to the creature-- his senses trained on it with all his will.

Nothing.... No movement.

Perhaps it was aware of him, and his plans, should it continue to advance...  Jack did not know.  This was not a normal intruder.  Very very not normal.

"A feast?" Linea didn't remember if such occasion was on the agenda, so she quickly glanced over the corridor, trying to find the caretaker to ask about it, but she didn't find her.

Returned to the female paladin, Linea couldn't help but smile in awkwardness. "You will organize it? By yourself? Well, that's great! Just tell me if everyone has gathered and I will be there."

Suddenly feeling tired, Linea waved at her before going upstairs and shut herself in her room. The bath can wait, she wanted to sleep now.

Once Linea went in to her room and since she couldn't find the caretaker on the area. She is now giving more of the attention on a weak smell of rot. It's like what the feeling ill of paranormal specialist when detecting the presence of paranormality.

She goes off and tracking the smell seeing the man nearby called Jack on hunting mode. She sneakily in prone position, goes to his range and tapping his thigh. She then lying down besides him with her shield on sword on her torso, covering her nose for stronger smell of rot.

"I can see you trying to get a big catch." She said with gentle smile while covering nose with her hand.

"it knows we're here."

With a gesture, he indicates the direction.

"that way. Cant... Can't tell..... It's not an animal. Don't draw attention. It's stopped moving."

Jack's stony one-eyed gaze turned toward the strange woman. She had managed to sneak up on him, which was unnerving. But skill was worth appreciating, even if he was 'distracted'.  Quiet movement in all that metal was a fine feat. She must have practice.

"You sense it too? If you do, you know you shouldn't go looking for trouble. Just be ready when it finds you."

He sat, saying nothing for what seemed a long time.

"When it leaves, we need to prepare. Good junk outside this place. Bones, metal, sharp rocks.  Lots of painful things."

His gaze returned to the strange girl.  "I will set traps. Lots of traps."
