Jack Flush wanders about, finds the visitor boarding house, and starts trying to gamble with anyone that’ll play.
Whilst wandering about, Jack Flush finds a gold piece on the ground.
[Jack Flush gains 1 Gold Piece]Entering the visitor boarding house, it seems mostly vacant, aside from the other adventurers. Suddenly, a piece of the ceiling breaks and falls down inches away from Jack. It seems that some repairs may be needed...
Raine Briardance decided to take some time to look around the town. She would also use her flight ability to fly upwards to get a bird's eye view of the town. From directly above the town, she would check for any landmarks in the forest if there were any that were large enough to not be obscured by the numerous trees...
The distance is largely covered in fog, though a tall and mysterious structure looms in the distance to the north-west, just barely discernable through the mist.
The further distances are even more obscure, as the forest seems to stretch out into the horizon where fog blends with cloud.
Dularach begins the day by approaching the man with a polearm asking a bit about the beast that have been attacking the village, after which he decides to get a drink and enjoy a few huffs from his pipe, once it starts getting dark he finds a nice place near the edge of the village to burrow underground and creating a place to rest similar to what a trapdoor spider does
The man with the polearm explains that the creatures have been attacking the village at unpredictable hours, but also at a high frequency. The last ones that attacked came this morning, a small band of bloodthirsty gnolls. The attackers don't ever seem to have much of a plan, even for beasts, as if they were being compelled by some force other than themselves.
Dularach also learns that the man's name is Vasco Drakon and that he's been at the village for over 5 years. This phenomenon is indeed strange, as he had never witnessed anything like it before.
Dolo lumbers through the village square, looking at all the pretty things for sale! Shiny shiny! He heads to the Smithy first, seemingly attracted to the sound of metal on metal.
A man is working at the forge, wiping his sweat every so often. He sees Dolo enter and raises an eyebrow, then relaxes into a friendly posture.
"You must be one of the adventurers here to help us! Please, feel free to look around." He gestures to the assortment of weapons and armor all around the room, including blades, hammers, spears, and other metalcrafts.
