Mechanics:
-During the BUILD PHASE you can build a mech or building, or design a new mech or building, or revise one of them which is a bit easier(2d6 for bell curve is in effect).
-Four buildings of the same type can built in each zone.

You send the survey team in search of a cold climate to establish humanity's last hope.

Late Winter, 9 AV

A remote location to build Last City has been determined. Considerable terraforming of the surrounding mountains will be needed for space to grow. However this will act as a natural defense to Vek burrowing in the beginning.



We cannot build a mech until the power grid is established. All buildings add to the grid. Choose 2 buildings to build, and where to put them.

Small Industrial Building: Work for 25. Increases Economy limit to 0.2(sum of all rounded up) and Power Grid by 1. Produces 0.1 Economy(sum of all rounded up) if fully staffed. Cost 1 Economy.
Small Commercial Building: Work for 25. Increases Happiness limit to 0.2(sum of all rounded up) and Power Grid by 1. Produces 0.1 Happiness(sum of all rounded up) if fully staffed. Cost 1 Economy.

Mayor we are sure to get more refugees when we grow to accommodate them. But our happiness is so low, crime is a problem. We can't even think of defending ourselves from the Vek if we have to put resources and good men towards policing ourselves. We need to demolish some mountains so we can make room for commerce. If we don't do this now, we will regret it.

Sir, we need a working mech. Demolishing mountains is sure to attract unwanted attention. We can always demolish later, after we are defended.



Vek Scientist Bromine

The problem is we are too cramped. When the Vek arrive anything we build will quickly be stomped on. If we demolish a little bit at a time, there is less chance of them showing up. They will emerge in open land if possible, otherwise they will come straight through the buildings!
