I'll note OLTS needs our card to be face up to be played. Wilma meanwhile, is 1 star. We have a lot of OLTS. Ad then there is our other spells, like another IE.. We could just get a very bad draw sequence, and our opponent will pick the 2 that don't help us.

IE on the other hand, could be more useful when we have no other choice, or if +3 attack would be enough to win.

We must draw 4 Monsters to be able to use a monster. This is out of 9/32 cards in our deck. However, 23/32 of them are spells, with an extremely high chance of spells getting picked. 8 of these spells and 1 Wilma can't be used.


Now does Inexperienced Mangaka sound optimal? While 7/32 IE exist, that will simply set the deck to spinning again. It's a gacha all the way.

Right now, we need reliability. As our opponent isn't going to be picking cards that are good for us.

Reread that card description again a couple of times Tric. You are 100% wrong in every way, starting with the fact it says “draw until you have five cards” meaning we don’t actually draw anything since we have five cards already. I’m not sure where you are getting the “we would need 4 monsters to play anything!” either, given they presumably have to be valid play cards and there are currently no face up monsters.

I'll note that our opponent will pick two. If we already have fie cards, they would pick Path to Tomorrow and OLTS. Note it says they pick 2, and we can Play them immediately. It says nothing about them needing to be valid cards to play at the moment, nor do we have to play any of the chosen cards.
