Constitution of Concordian Union:
1. Concordian Union, being a free association of its constituent states and autonomous units, is a federal state with Capital in Landing Point.
2. The Union is guided by the Principles of the UN Charter, which are now held to be the foundation of all future and existing law and are held to be law in themselves where such prescriptions exist.
2.1 All states and autonomous bodies within the Union will retain their legislative and executive functions, including creation of laws that are to be binding on state level.
2.2 State laws may not contravene federal legislation, or be in conflict with the letter or the spirit of the UN Charter. Any such conflicts are to be appealed to the Office of Law of the Senate for legality and enforcement.
2.3 All freedoms of the citizens of the Union will be based on the UN Charter.
3. The Union's chief body will be The Senate, composed of elected representatives from respective states and autonomous bodies.
3.1 The representatives, hence known as Senators, are to be elected in free and impartial manner, as organised by the electoral committees of each state and autonomous body and in line with the UN Charter, or as legislated by the Senate. Their terms will be established in line with need and number of Senators as required by the Senate.
3.2 The Senate will be the supreme executor of the will of its citizens, being the chief organ of legislation and and executive, as well as judiciary power. The Senate may appoint and invest these powers as its sees fit, while retaining the ultimate right over these powers to dispose of them and retain them as necessary.
3.3 The Senate will invest its powers in officially established Offices, which will form permanent executive committees, and group senators of appropriate talents and skill to manage affairs assigned to each Office. Offices are described in the Offices Addendum,
4. The Senate will have the right to raise and retain such forces as it sees necessary, to enforce its laws and to preserve the integrity of the State, and to aid in resolution of any issues on federal or state level.
4.1. Said forces will be made up of units of mixed origin and with no sole source of allegiance other than the Senate.
