I'm assuming the HATE TRAIN would be powered by hate for things other than the HATE TRAIN.

If everyone on the hate train hated each other, and they all killed each other, would the hate train stop, since there is nothing on it that can feel hate anymore?

The Hate Train is a concept, an allegory to explain a natural Human phenomenin. Without the Humans, the Hate Train would not stop, but rather it would cease to be. There would be no Hate Train, until there were Humans again to fuel it.

However, if there's no more humans left alive, there won't be any humans to fuel the hate train until some species evolves into humans again, but that'll take forever to the point of all traces of stuff aware of the hate train being gone before humans re-evolve into existence again. So once the last human dies, the hate train just stops existing for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future.

Why specifically humans? It is conceivable that another animal can develop an emotion that the humans of the past would have called hate, and that these animals could develop a connected vehicle chain that humans might call a train and they could create the allegory of what humans might call a hate train

In the year 2519 humans are long extinct but uplifted intelligent dogs have developed a flourishing civilisation spanning the globe and they travel across it on rail-bound vehicles and sometimes, when dogs are united in disgust at something, they refer to a metaphorical hate tram.

Do remember though that emotions other than hate exist. I’m sure there’s a love train of some kind. Hype trains are quite common in this age of Game Trailers. Why should Hate have a monopoly on locomotion?

We can make a confusion car and a bewilderment bus. Those that ride inside them will feel confusion/bewilderment respectively, since the makers of these vehicles made them spray whatever hormones cause those specific emotions in the brain.
