Dwarves cannot breathe underwater, amphibians can flood the dwarves tunnels and take the area

Dwarves regularly tame colossi for their own use. Which don't need to breath.(I think, I don't play Dwarf Fortress.)

We also regualrly go to the circus, take Cotton Candy from them, and beat hordes of goblins. The only thing protecting amphibions is the fact we do need to breath.

We don't exactly tame colossi. Rather, we trap them, then use them either as a reserve superweapon or as a big bronze target for archery practice.

Did you mean tame? I don’t think time is a verb unless you are measuring how fast they do certain things
