I'm afraid the internet's not a great place to seek out friends... it's hard to trust somebody whose face you've never seen.
Still, I expect you'll find plenty of acquaintances hereabouts! We're by and large a friendly enough lot, and we try to listen. You're welcome here.

Being lonely sucks. Here's two things you can do.

1. Talk about things other than your split personalities. Develop your interests and hobbies and connect with people with similar hobbies and interests through them.

2. Seek therapy or psychiatric care for your mental issues.

I thought I had a Split personality for a while, but to make sure I didn't a Pula fast one on my doctor I looked it up, and it turned out I was more of a Šibenik.

I've been telling myself for years I'm not a dog person. I was allergic once upon a time, then we had chickens and neighborhood dogs would mess with the chickens, then we had really obnoxious neighborhood dogs that would frighten small children... I worked up a pretty good hostility.

Still... lately, dogs have been growing on me. We've got a couple real nice ones nearby these days, and an acquaintance of mine has one that just loves me for some reason-- I wouldn't want to own one, but I'm learning to at least appreciate the things. It's a learning process.

I'd like to point out that in the Drunk Fortress thread, Dragofire said that they're in a mental hospital. I dunno about you, but that counts as psychiatric care to me.

This, incidentally, likely rules out having IRL friends for the most part. But yeah, Dragofire (or whoever is active at the moment), you are always welcome to post here in General discussion, chat with us, and talk about life, and watch Kagus and Yoink debate.
