The smoke from the titan's nostrils is coming in somewhat smaller measures, but gradually strengthens. But it isn't fire the beast wants to use now.
It lifts its massive legs, ready to crush you with all its might.
You devised a plan, though, and start a new spell.
"...I worry more about the spirit of whomever loses... It'd cost you nothing to leave" you say, as you channel.
"But if this is how you wish this to end, so be it."The titan rushes forward, seeing you dead already. In mere seconds, you halt its charge.
Conjuring up a gigantic spike from the frost covering the ground, you impale it from below.
A great shock runs across then spirit's face, and the beast is still, its only movement heavy breathing.
Sas is stunned by the display in front of him, and remains in similar state, and Flax's glance changes too, as his alarmed face vanishes and instead, a sense of triumph runs across it. He reacts faster and rushes towards the beast.
The titan is trying to move, but the lodged icicle won't let it. You withdraw some distance to safe range, and take Sas, still mesmerized, with you.
The smoke is getting intense, and the beast sees but a single way out. It bends its head inwards, in hopes of melting the spike, as well as addressing certain human warrior on victory-rush.
It opens it maw and unleashes the flames of death, but Flax keeps on running right in. For a moment, you can't see anything. Sas is hesitant to shoot, as he couldn't hit the head, but you gesture him to prepare another shot anyway.
When the dark clouds fade a bit, you can see the tip of the icicle dropping down, a sizzling mixture of slush and ash, and above it a man...
...Who you could swear is on fire, holding onto the titan, with one arm elbow deep in the wound.
With a rapid movement, he pulls out the arm, his hand is empty, his glove brightly red.
He quickly drops off and leaps out, but doesn't make it in time.
The beast collapses, and falls onto his legs, trapping him. A mighty crash, snow flung into the air, and a painful scream. The titan lies motionless, and the pain stops.
"Impressive. Perhaps you spoke truth after all, well... Your further deeds will tell."The spirit fades, and you can no longer feel its presence in this world. It has left behind his worldly power, though.
A seed of life, this must be the source of this land's status, and what kept the spirits around. When the titan was angered, it must've disrupted the balance. Perhaps it was dormant before?
Crackantler is cackling and trying to get to the spiritual remnants, aroused by the energy, but you're aware of him and block his path.
"I can plant it, and the spirits should return... Or..."Your vision is interrupted by Sas, shaking your arm, then running to Flax.
The warrior is still stuck, and angrily grunts, he doesn't seem to be able to get out himself. The flames you've seen on him are put out, but his clothes did take the toll.
"Let's get rid of him while we can!""Sorry for the knife, Sas, ugh!" he cries. "Couldn't get it out in time. We can dissect this thing if you want..."
He tries to laugh, but can't. You can see the pain in his face...
"Black, you were speaking languages and stuff, what was that about? Did you talk to it? I mean, it..."
"Let go you ungrateful ingrate you selfish snob!!! I am starving!!!!!"What do you want to do?
