The two approaches change the game. Turn order: things are clear and can be balanced to have weaker players go last, for instance. This would lead to fun, transparent games. Dm's make it closer to Diplomacy. Anyone's friendship I value here? .

I'd be interested to have actually tried out both ways at some point to see how it would actually change things, if at all. But for now:

I'm fine with PMs. If it was a changing order, I'd suggest going in descending order of rice generation, so weakest players get to act last. With the caveat that any player can post their turn earlier if they don't care if people know what they're doing.
