Try to become conscious, if this is managed, try to find the blue maggot and take it out. While I attempt this, think about whether I’ve learned about any of these creatures; the blue maggot, the giant worm, or the tentacled humanoids in any biology classes in Underhive Academy

Remember to include your character sheet, Naturegirl. Wouldn't want you to die so soon, now would we? That's much more like something I would do.

Cleave the creature between me and Nora! If I can, try to drag her back towards safety! Also, give a burst of lifeforce to help stabilize her.

Spoiler: Crass (click to show/hide)

"Oh what the hell did I just say?!"

Crass points to the Hybryd dragging the injured Arthropod.

"You, bring her over here. I'll deal with her."

Prep for surgery and try to stabilize Nora.

"Friendly down. Requesting medic."

"The humanoids do not require heads. Aim center of mass."

Visually inspect Nora, if she can last long enough for the doc to get to her, shoot the creatures attacking Arp. Otherwise, apply pressure to Nora's wounds until the doc arrives.

Spoiler: Nora the Spider (click to show/hide)
Try to become conscious, if this is managed, try to find the blue maggot and take it out. While I attempt this, think about whether I’ve learned about any of these creatures; the blue maggot, the giant worm, or the tentacled humanoids in any biology classes in Underhive Academy

(6+2=8) Nora manages to open her eyes. She still can't really move on her own though.
(1) The maggot has thoroughly embedded itself.

You've never heard of these things.

"Aw fuck it missed, damn worm thing not wanting to die."
Then he sees the other monsters in the room.
"Oh shit this must be where the government dumps all their failed experiments, I'd record this with my camera if I hadn't dropped it in that puddle."

Get my shotgun ready to shoot anything hostile that gets close to where I am.
Spoiler: Burt (click to show/hide)

Burt readies his shotgun, just as the creature that got Nora bursts into the hallway. (7+2=9) Burt puts a blast directly into the creature's chest, obliterating it from the waist up.

"Oh dear. This is turning into quite the pickle."

Telepathy time:
1 Projection: Peek into their minds. Why are they doing this? Just to procreate?
2 Projection: Confuse the creatures. Fill their mind with fear. Make every shadow look like an enemy. Unless they use some sort of ESP, in which case mess with that.

Sherry does two spells in succession

First she tries to gain insight (6+1=7 projection)

Spoiler: insight (click to show/hide)

Sherry then tries to scare the creatures off. (5+1=6 projection) The message gets sent, so to speak, but it doesn't really work. These creatures don't seem to have much of a concept of fear.

Yank on the club to stretch out the tendril as far as I can.  If I am winning the pulling contenst, stick the club between the door and the wall to hold the club in place, and pull on the door trying to keep the worm-thing's head stuck.  If the creature is winning the pull test, just let go of the club and let the tendril draw the club back to the monster's face.  After that, look through the pile of corpses for a suitable new club.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

(8+4=*9*) Thag uses his club to gather the rest of the tendrils like spaghetti, then he wedges the club into the doorframe. The creature isn't totally pinned, but it doesn't have immediate use of most of it's tendrils.

Thag then goes over and picks up the sledgehammer from the dead excavators.

Reinforce the spell, I don't want the worm and its tendrils moving at all. Two more focus rolls.

(10, 3+1=4 focus) Alice manages to focus in on the spell, strengthening the bonds. However, she isn't able to actually maintain the spell's influence over the creature. As the creature starts to break free, she hurriedly tries again to reinforce the spell, however, in her haste, she misdirects it. Her wand becomes uncomfortably stuck to her hand and stops working. This causes the worm to break free from the spell.

Frank saw, with much distress, his new robot friend Arp getting swarmed. His initial panic is quickly overrun by rage at the concept of a machine being damaged. He charges towards Arp, screaming loudly and reloading his revolver as he runs. Once he gets to Arp he fires a bullet at each of the tendrils, careful to not damage his robot friend. He vaguely hopes that his hardsuit will keep him nice and safe from retaliatory attacks by the tentacles.

Spoiler: Frank (click to show/hide)

Frank bounds forth, attempting to reload while he does so (5=1=6). He reaches Arp with a fully reloaded revolver. He fires on Arp's assailants (10). He skillfully places a round into each creature, knocking them all off his friend. some of the creatures don't seem to be all the way down, however.

The Frosted Knight had sat there, atop their mount stiff as a corpse. When that creature had emerged, there were so many feelings that they hadn't felt, had little to no memory of. Anger..despair, Utter Terror...a feeling of doubt in themselves and their abilities and they'd sat their atop their mount till now. As their allies were swarmed, as people without even a weapon to fight these foes in close range charged to protect others.

A helmet was touched, cracked and frosted with a hand.

Two feeling's intermixed.

Shame and something warm, a heat in their frozen rigid body, a desire that had them gripping their mount tight, their other hand grasping onto their Glaive.

The Desire to Protect.

Their beetle reared back, a gruff sound leaving unbreathing lungs.

"Hpmh!"

Atop her icy blue beetle, the Frosted Knight charges alongside the brave Frank to assist the Robot! Pale eye's focus on the grand worm, she wills for shards of ice to appear from the ground and pierce its flesh! ((Going for projection!))

If possible drop a medkit nearby any injured allies!

((Sorry for the absence! Hopefully, I've come back in the nick of time!))

The knight follows Frank out to help their robot companion. However, see that Arp is in good hands, she turns her attention instead to the worm. (9+1=*9*) Thin needles of pale ice leap from the ground, piercing the worms flesh. The worm thrashes, and blue goo seems to be leaking from the wounds.

Cleave the creature between me and Nora! If I can, try to drag her back towards safety! Also, give a burst of lifeforce to help stabilize her.

Spoiler: Vaiae (click to show/hide)

Vaiae tries again to find her feet (10) She is already running by the time she's on her feet. She realizes too late that she's set her trajectory directly towards the worm. (8+1=9 melee)(4+1=5 defense) She has her sword at the ready. Lashing out, she gouges the worms reforming mouth, noticing a twinge of blue as she does so. Small tendrils shoot out, but only snap at her hardsuit. She makes her way past the worm.

She reaches Nora, and carefully pulls the spider back into the hallway.

Spoiler: Crass (click to show/hide)

"Oh what the hell did I just say?!"

Crass points to the Hybryd dragging the injured Arthropod.

"You, bring her over here. I'll deal with her."

Prep for surgery and try to stabilize Nora.

Crass sees the spider being dragged into the room, and immediately leaps into action (10). Within seconds, he has Nora's exoskeleton patched and mended. He goes to work with stitches and bandages, making liberal use of painkillers along the way. The painkillers hit Nora a bit harder than intended, leaving her stupefied, but stable.

Spoiler: Ares (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Description (click to show/hide)

Nora is being well taken care of, so Ares decides to help Arp.
(3+4=7) Ares looks down at the remaining creatures. Having the opportunity to get a close look, he notices that each one actually has a faintly glowing blue spot. He places a bullet in 2 of them, killing them, but the remaining two don't have a visible spot. He places two bullets in one, but the other manages to get up before he can get at it.

Try to fight off the creatures with my axe.

Spoiler: Arp (click to show/hide)

Arp finds his way to his feet, and retaliates with the axe (7). he manages to put the revived one back on the ground by chopping out it's feet, but he doesn't kill it.

The worm struggles to break free from where it was pinned (5). It loosens it's tentacles enough to lash out at Thag (2). Thag manages to avoid the tentacles, and decides to retaliate (10). Thag shoves the sledgehammer directly into the worms maw. Thag is covered in a massive gush of blue goo. The worm shutters, then falls still.

"These things aren't as hard to kill as I thought they'd be, I feel like a deserve a cigar for killing a government made monster."
Light and start to smoke a cigar, then go and help kill any of the remaining monsters with my shotgun.

Retrieve whichever club looks easier to grab, and then pose for a moment, before helping with any cleanup-related clubbing.

Grunt happily.

"Hunger for penetration? How vulgar."

Take a picture of the dead worm. Include the posing Thag for scale.

Can I use Telepathy to try to detect thinking things? If yes, then one projecting roll (or one focus and one projection, if I need focus for this) to check the corpses and my teammates for the thought pattern I saw in the parasites' minds. If I detect it in any of the corpses, then shoot them until it stops.

Satisfied that Arp is no being swarmed by tentacles, Frank checks his robot friend up and down for damage, noting anything that he'll have to try to fix in a moment or so.
