Feel free to go ahead and create your apprentice. They can have up to 2 skills and are at Force Rank 2. If an initiate breaks through, they may challenge your apprentice for their position, or you may even have multiple apprentices ( though I think I’m going to have a limit of 3). Apprentice book keeping and tracking will be mostly on you, though I may use them as emotional bait.

The initiates have lesser versions of the starting force powers, once they become an acolyte (rank 3) they gain one force power (lightning for acolytes) and an additional skill related to their class (usually ritual training for acolytes).  They start with 3 force points. Attributes would be zero at this level, and the combat style for acolyte initiates is a single lightsaber leaving a hand free for using the force. Though you don’t need all these details, they are more for player characters.

Turn 2 The Den

What became became known as The Den was once a Ser-Conn mining station, cracking open and harvesting rare metal rich asteroids. When a wandering Sith took interest in the base, it quickly became an outpost for pirate fleets. Nowadays it has become a potent mix of commerce and theft, becoming a quasi legitimate place to sell ones stolen goods. Generous bribes to Empire officials keeps them in their good graces, and the Empire has found use for the unsavory inhabitants in their wars with the republic.

Spread across a hundred different asteroids, with Greer durasteel tubes and building wind their way around and through the mined out husks.

Zephyr’s shuttle landed on one of the many docking ports, where quiet bribes were paid to keep the registration quiet and under an assumed name.

Intellegience Chief Konas had separated to begin work on Styrax, but she left one of her capable agents, a dark skinned man named Sal Wentiz, to help the operation. In the smoky and dim bars of The Den, Sal gathered information and presented Zephyr with a few options.
A. Ambush the meeting. When they are meeting, attack and cause confusion. A few grenades and explosives could cause confusion and perhaps turn them against each other. Then Zephyr will attack and mop up the survivors.
 B. Ambush in route. Attack them separately. Sal thinks this plan has less of a chance of bagging both parties, but less dangerous overall. He thinks it would be best to take Lord Decius’s Knight out first, then move on the Dark Hand. If they become aware and flee, Yob Aval will have hopefully rigged their ship to blow and either blow them up or strand them to be taken out.
C. Something else?

Sal cautions Yob Aval that they shouldn’t rely on just one indirect method for Sith, as their sense for danger make traps very unreliable by themselves. But in a rush or panic, it could serve to finish them off.

Other Characters can still join in the mission.

In the meantime, Zephyr
A.Fight in the Great Arena, a place for bloodsports where gladiators fight to win fame and glory. Could win some prestige here.
B. Coerce a pirate band. The frigate Wolfblood has a mean reputation, captained by a blood thirsty pirate named the Dark Knight, said to wield an intense red saber. Her ship is currently docked at the Den.
C. Lay low, and quietly gain informants and prepare for the ambush, increases chances of success.

With an essential lack of things to do, and more or less happy to relinquish his training duties given that others were actually intending to do it now, instead of trying to raid tombs, Ska Thar finds himself with an awful lot of free time. To this end, he heads down to the planet to assist the masters there after spending some time on himself.

Major action: Head down to the planet's surface, and assist with the efforts there.

Minor action: Ska Thar uses his free time to acquire materials for his own use, to use in the creation of some personal arms and armour.

Turn 2 Zarcath

Erin Mosely shook her head when Ulaan told her of their intention to build a base on the ground.
“You got two problems with that. First is the Myrczoth that would drain you of life. Now if you put your base on a rocky outcropping you would be mostly safe, but then you would have to deal with the Leviathan that assuredly made that rock its lair. Many people have tried it, but all have died to one or the other”

Ulaan only smiled, “I imagine none of them were Sith, though. We carry on.”

Erin rolled her eyes, “Well my hunters and I won’t die for you, but we will get you a good spot. “

The skiffs departed from the greater barge, carrying the complement of Hunters and Sith towards an suitable site, believed to have rich reserves of metal. The skiffs emerge from the shadowy forest into a wide clearing surrounding a rocky promontory thrusting into the sky. The Hunters prime their weapons, but nothing emerges from the hole leading into the rocky outcropping. The skiffs alight upon the rocks. Erin points to the East, where large armored slugs crawl upon the forest floor, mouths ringing the creatures sides snatching at the crawling Myrczoth.

“Over there are some Lechepods, they aren’t near their full size. Could be the Leviathan is keeping them nearby until they grow.”

Titus walks next to her, “So you think a Leviathan does still live here?”

She nods, her eyes warily scanning through trees, “Yep, just a matter of time till it returns. I want you unloaded and set up, and us returned back home before it comes back.”

A cargo shuttle from the Dread Mandate touched down fairly soon, bringing Visaj and a company of brave crewmen I’m seek of extra pay. They join the initiates helping set up a base camp from pre-fab materials. A skiff patrolled over head as the Hunters kept eyes open.

Suddenly their was a sharp 3 whistles filling the air as all the Hunters leapt to their feet. The Sith activated their blades as instinct took over, and looked to the source. A great reptilian monster burst from the trees, near 60 meters long and with vast wings, and smashed into the patrolling skiff, rending it with its great jaws and tearing it apart with two massive arms, sending men and equipment screaming to their deaths on the rocks below. A pattern of heavy blaster bolts patter against it skin, but it does little but scorch it’s hardened skin. It quickly dives back into the trees. It is nearly silent to the force, but the Sith can feel it now circling back for another pass.

Erin curses and calls for everyone to return to their ships, but the 3 Sith Masters look at each other. Titus tries a quick enslavement of the beast, but it is too prideful and strong to submit more easily. If it was weakened though...

What do Titus, Ulaan, and Visaj do?

Spoiler: Doing things (click to show/hide)

Zephyr mulled over the options presented.
"And what of the off chance they escape? That would be unacceptable.

Let's go with another option, as our prey are not predictable creatures....

Go ahead and set up a 'surprise' for their meeting, however, let's make sure their vessels wont leave without our permission. I like the idea that Yob was wanting to do, but with us being here? We shall put both into action.

In the mean time I will be preparing for a quick fight when all of this takes place."

Zephyr dismisses Sal and head off to the Great Arena to warm up. The Acolytes can join in if they choose but they will have less odds of living past their first mission if the arena does not allow team matches, which would be a shame for them.

Spoiler: Tellos Varren (click to show/hide)

With the vault catalogued Tellos expanded his classes into the afternoon. Adding, amung other things, regular lectures on sith history and philosophy for his students and anyone else who wanted to attend. He placed a stong emphasis on learning from the past, both to emulate success and avoid repeting mistakes.

Major action: Continue teaching acolytes.
Minor action: Study the Mind Rip ritual.

Council votes: Tellos will second Mithren's division of initiates and his motion to control destructive use of artifacts. He will also vote to remove Ska Thar from his teaching position unless he vows not to kill students without council approval.

So it is knowledge from the previous Master? Alright then, I am doing this
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Use 1 Force point to activate the Trust, releasing the life force from the carbonite man and giving it to the skull
Woah, remember that that carbonite-frozen guy might be USEFUL. Steal a convict or something from the planet, don't waste a potential asset.
Right
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Cancel previous action. Instead, Head down to the planet to search for a non-Sith
and use Dominate Mind to get them to follow me to the vault, where I will drain them of life and give that life to the skull

Turn 2 The Den 2
(6)

Zephyr fought well in the arena, felling multiple opponents and winning some measure of acclaim for herself.

(+1 prestige, become well known across the Den)

(6)
The ships of the Dark Hand and Lord Decius arrive, and Yob Aval is ready. Hacking into their refueling mixture, he changes the  mix of fuel being pumped in to the ship. Combined with the fuel already onboard, the ship will at worst be disabled for a time, at best it might explode attempting to leave.

The Dark hand number 3 robed and cowled Sith, their presence hidden in the Force. Yob Aval watches them continue on, and almost misses a dark shadow leave the ship.

What does Yob Aval do? Follow the three or the one slipping away?

Knight Urlean arrives with an honor guard of 10 warriors, and 30 marines. Your contacts report their march through the Den to their meeting place. You were unable to rig explosives there, but you have a few grenade launchers primed.

(5)
They gather in the top room of  a darkened club, below where people of wealth danced and gambled, and those with power discussed their dark dealings above. The room had a wide window, looking out over a cavernous expanse of a hollowed our astroid. Your men had taken position on a nearby roof.m, hidden from view. As the two parties meet in the room, your marines launch the grenades.

The grenades crash through the windows and explode causing chaos. The three Dark Hand members appear unwounded, as does the Knight, but several of the warriors were brought down. They appear to be aware of the direction the grenades came from.

What does Zephyr do, and do her initiates do? (Can adjust starting position or plan. Options include overwhelming the door guards and busting in, breaking in through the windows, something else. )

The priorities are, in descending order,
  • Survive
  • Get paid
  • Enslave the beast

Titus uses Force Kill on the Leviathan, knowing it probably won't outright kill the massive beast.
If the Leviathan isn't dead or incapacitated at this point, Ulaan and Visaj summon Force Lightning on the Leviathan.
If the Leviathan is downed now, Titus Force Enslaves the dragon.
If the Leviathan is still in fighting shape, the three use Telekinesis to smash it with rocks, trees, destroyed skiff parts, or errant animals. Perhaps someone will Lightsaber Throw at it or something instead (ideally without maiming the Leviathan).
If the Leviathan is downed now, Titus Force Enslaves the dragon.

Should enslaving the beast prove to be impossible, and danger rears its ugly head, brave [Darth] Ulaan will turn about and gallantly chicken out. This likely applies to TItus and Visaj as well.

Spoiler: Party bash (click to show/hide)

Instead of going through the doors; Zephyr and her Acolytes make manholes above the meeting room and drop in. The drop will be relevant to "sensing" those alive and try to box them in the room.

This seems like a good plan.

"So this is a Leviathan? Wondrous! The majesty of this beast was understated. It will be a fitting start for my menagerie." Titus smiles, thoughts running through his head of the myriad things that could be accomplished with this beast.

Yob Aval smirks to himself contently after sabotaging the Dark Hard vessel.  He predicts his peers will focus on the Dark Hard agents themselves.  However, he is intrigued by the mysterious shadow (another Force Shadow Sith?)  He pats his concealed blaster assuredly while maintaining his disguise as a dockworker.  He nonchalantly tries to follow the shadow, relying on his stealth and enhanced senses mastery to successfully track his quarry.
