There are two kaiju which have appeared this month. One is arriving in the extreme North Atlantic, it looks like it is heading for Scandinavia.
It has yet another one of those missile launchers. It also appears to be internally reinforced, with a very dense shell around the body. There is also another unknown weapon system.
The second kaiju is one previously sighted, in the early days of the kaiju attacks. It is appeared in the northwest Pacific. It isn't moving yet, but you fear Japan may eventually be attacked. This one is known for having a similar laser eye system to the laser spider which attacked Bangladesh. It is also known to be a melee attacker, and had some kind of damaging aura around it.

This one is identifiable, as it's attacked a city before. It's basically a giant monkey with sword-arms and the ability to blast shockwaves at distant targets with them, notable for quickness and strength, as well as tough bony plating similar to an exoskeleton.
The strength of the early kaiju attackers is similar to the strength of the strongest ones yet seen. However, some of their weapons are weaker than the improved ones seen today.
There isn't too much available in the black market this month, although there's an experimental missile system for sale. It's a mobile SAM launcher, but parts of the system have been cut down.. it's intended to work with other battlefield radars rather than mounting its own, it's using cheaper launch tubes which force limited ammunition from fouling, and it's no better protected than any other medium sized unarmoured vehicle.
..there are two reasons to buy it. Firstly, it has been designed to be able to adopt an artillery targetting system, allowing it to fire at surface targets, and it is still launching huge, high-payload missiles at long ranges.

You build and deploy the Jaeger in time. It manages to deal damage, but is destroyed by the kaiju's flame weapon... but the relatively poor performance was outweighed by far by what your infantry recovers.
They have managed to recover most of the goods of the Kaiju's flame attack.. the chemical injectors, the organs that make those chemicals, the pumps that pressurize it, and the odd guiding bits that control the reaction so it does the long-range thing along with the contact explosive power.
Good stuff! You'll still need to research it to be able to use it properly, and if you do so, should tell your scientists if you want to use it to make one awesome weapon, or to learn how to make slightly less awesome weapons. The resulting weapons are likely to be [large] sized, which means that a modified version of your Jaegers should be able to mount one. This work is done in a Kaiju Lab.
They also have recovered a strange organ. This one is basically a flat hexagonal cell-like structure, except the size of a wheelbarrow. It is rigid, but the surface is covered with a waxy coating which is starting to flake off.

Hunting down the scrapyards you get a bit of a surprise, some huge rolls of sheet steel from a shuttered auto plant. Just the thing you need!
Currently your giant kangaroo is wearing about 12 inches of shaped metal armour over its entire body, making it look like a living steel statue of a giant kangaroo, undoubtedly much harder to hurt now. Yes, the sunglasses are still there, although they're now steel-rimmed sunglasses.
Also, there was an incident. It seems it bounced enough so that it's head smashed some of the 'shop' where you sell your goodies from, necessitating some repairs, lest the giant hole in the floor attract too much attention.
(note that repairing one building for free can be done at the same time as more research or construction, as per recent rules changes.)
