I don't know if collecting heat counts as "eating"

I was suggesting that to see if it helped with any of the other ideas.

The point of the clockwork continent is that the things there are powered by clockwork. I'm thinking that I'll ignore any clockwork animal stuff for now unless anyone comes up with anything reasonable for them.

In the meantime I have been thinking about the continent of horror. I'm thinking that it has districts.

Again, any kind of horror works for the continent. Psychological horror, existential horror, body horror, jump scare horror, political horror, and etcetera are all fine. Just make sure you leave room for the other types.

I'll add the machines later.

I'm thinking that this continent could be one of the places where the denizens of the other continents could interact with each other and share their technology. After all, horror shouldn't be limited to a single technology. The cost of the freedom is the horror of living there.

I plan on having at least three eldritch cosmic horror entities living there.

So everybody goes to the horror continent to meet up, but whats stopping them from meeting on some random island?

Maybe distance? Maybe the other islands surround the horror island which is in the center?

Nothing besides the fact that the islands are undefined.

I was thinking about doing something like that but I would like to reiterate that these are continents, not islands.

Fact: Hidden Monsters
There are creatures that hide in the shadows on the horror continent, and kill people that go into them alone and with out light.

I just realized I basically just suggested a grue.

So what can we do with these points we've been gathering?

I'm not sure. I'm thinking that they will basically be "contributor points" and could either be spent on bonuses when I add the RPG mechanics or that your score will determine what "reward" you get for helping me make the setting.

They are meant to have a purpose though. I'm trying to give an incentive to contribute.

Do you have any ideas for what kind of rewards you'll be giving, also how many points do I have because I have no idea.

I was thinking that the person with the most points would get first pick of something.

I'll check.
