Guys, remember that if you state a truth, you

need to tie it back to a truth in an earlier cycle (or a listed one in the current cycle) OR state that it is unconnected but does not contradict any existing truths.

Although the most destructive dreams and lies are produced by sophisticated creatures, such beings cannot survive in close proximity to the Nightmare for long. The regions of the world closest to the Nightmare are populated by dumb beasts and simple animals, largely impervious to it's ravages (Cycle 2, Truth 10).

One of the spiders tells a story about a planet called Thetss, weaving it into existence. Thetas is a planet of mostly water, with ice at the surface to contain the water. The water contains various chemicals, which over time form into self replicating structures aka life
(Cycle 2, Truth 6)

"Ruins from ancient civilizations that predate the creation of the world can occasionally be found."
6

The Ones Who Float are titanic Whales that float around the Universe. These Whales mate for life, and can live for eons. Inside each Floating Whale exist an ecosystem, that varies with the Whale. The Whales demonstrate some sentience and are REALLY smart. They communicate with small stories.

Cycle 1: Ultimate Truth
1: Stories are real.

Cycle 2: Great Truths
1."The size of the world at any given time is directly proportional to the amount of people who tell stories" Is the accepted truth but in fact the world has many sizes, and can be endless or have no size at all, depending for each person on the stories they know.

2. There are many species, each of whom have their own stories

3.  Any story told even if its a lie might become reality.

4. Dreams count as stories, but it is the Id, the primal beast within all creatures, which shapes these, rather than one's conscious mind.

5. Different species prefer different tropes, and these tropes shape the land locally based on the amount of storytellers.

6. The most important species are immortal spiders, whose string shows each story, connecting all of them into a giant and always growing web. But the world was not created by a spider, but by a mysterious being known as the Author, the subject and teller of the first story.

7. Dreams count as stories and their effects are even more permanent and long lasting than normal stories.

8. Contradictory stories simply cancel each other out harmlessly.

9. Most creatures hurt their prey and competitors through slander.

10.The Nightmare is an aberration of corrupted dreams and lies, with it's only purpose being the corruption of all Dreams, and to scare other beings. This is the accepted truth, but it is actually a stabilizing force, absorbing the wildest dreams into itself in order to avoid the nocturnal havoc they would cause.

Cycle three: Truths about the nature of the world
1. Thetas is a planet of mostly water, with ice at the surface to contain the water. The water contains various chemicals, which over time may form into self replicating structures.

2. Ruins from ancient civilizations that predate the creation of the world can occasionally be found; this is the accepted truth but...

3. The Many Who Sink are Tiny Minnows that sink through the Universe. These fish divide asexually and Live a very short time. They feed in great swarms, stripping worlds.  They are not individually intelligent, but together they weave great stories made of the worlds they eat.

4. Although the most destructive dreams and lies are produced by sophisticated creatures, such beings cannot survive in close proximity to the Nightmare for long.

Oh no, we accidentally created lore piranha.

I hope it is! And we do need more players.

One cornerstone of reality is the Interior, a wild landscape of unimaginable size dreamed by the birds and beasts that inhabit it. The Interior is linked to countless other planes, as it is a product of the primal Id lurking within all creatures. (Cycle 2, Truth 4).

The Order of Silence is one of the Great Mortal Powers of the World. It’s members are those who’ve learned many, many languages and many of the stories of each. The stories told by the Disciples of Silence have infinitely more gravity than Stories told by other Creatures, thanks to the massive weight of interpretation and possibility which comes with years of accumilated knowledge, to the point where the most senior amongst their ranks can’t say anything or make any sounds without inadvertently telling a story by accident which could cause unforseeable consequences. They communicate with one another using a sign language which is impossible to properly master. The leader of the order created the sign language, and cannot move anymore without communicating something to the world in some way, and thereby causing massive change. She sits, alone save for her carers, in a hidden monastery, her every twitch of muscle causing sibtle change in the world.

This was re-written several times to not contradict with any other posts, unless something says that creatures don’t have limbs or muscles or can’t build monasteries in hidden places, and fundamentally relies on the First Truth. Though if I did miss something, smack me.

Upon reading the OP very closely, I have determined that this doesn’t fit into the criteria for this cycle. Give me a minute to write something else...

on Thetas there are creatures called Merfolk. They have a tail like a fish and the head of a vulture. They have two octopus tentacles one on the left and one at the right of their necks. They are sentient and sapient, and they hunt the many species of fish that inhabit Thetas.

Significant amounts of the life on the Planet exists in a series of rocky islands and small continents, suspended above the World and connected with one another by vast webs constructed by the Spiders, acting as pillars and bridges, all connected to one another and to all other webs like a vast net. The Spiders do not interfere with the islands above, as the peoples living upon them provide the Spiders with stories to weave into their webs, which they also use to catch food. The webs can be climbed up or down by the most brave and stupid of adventurers, if they wish to go to the warm and watery world below, or the cold and windy world above.

The biggest of this suspended continents is called Shamirah, and it is inhabited by a race of beutiful sentient birds, the Sherazade. They weave intricate, complex  stories that are always sung, never told.

They weave intricate, complex  stories that are always sung, never told." is the accepted truth but their stories are actualy created by the hideous, grub like Terzkin. The Sherazade just put them into song, exploiting the creative efforts of the Terzkin and giving nothing in return.
