Turn 1: Who're these assholes?

Valoran City, Valoran

Here we are. Our Contestants are set and so is the stage, the gamemode is Assassination. But before we get to that, let's introduce our commentators for... who knows how long this time! First off, you know her, you love her, she's literally the embodiment of chance(for some layers and realities); it's Lady LUCK!

"Thank you, thank you, you're too kind." Responded Lady Luck, her grandiose tone commanding attention.

And our other, most esteemed guest, host to the funniest show in many realities, we're all happy to have him here;  Laughy McLaugherson!

"Hello viewers! I hope you're ready for a Laugh, because I certainly am ready to Laugh!" Continued Laughy, a cheer present in his voice that seemed to refuse to leave.

"Now then, on to the Match." Says Lady Luck, and the camera cuts away from the two commentators to instead show a scene panning over a futuristic city.

Location: Valoran City

"Welcome to sunny Valoran City, although... could you skip the footage ahead a few minutes? It seems we're behind."

The scene cuts forward, showing the same city, but the sky is suddenly darkened, buildings burn, and large monsters can be seen rampaging through the streets and streaking through the air. Soldiers in white full-body armor can be seen below, firing upon the creatures, backed by gunships and mechs.

Modifiers: Innate- Invasion, Rolled- Cerberus

"Haha, whoops, looks like Cerberus made a mistake, again. Seems whatever they where doing down there has gotten those Space Monsters all riled up. They're really out there in force!"

"Indeed Laughy dear, and now Cerberus has come out to clean their mess up. Though, I'm not sure I like there chances. They're in luck though! For the Star Guardians are on their way to save the day, as usual. Let's look at them now!" The camera shifts once again, showing a veritable squadron of glowing pinpricks in the distant sky.

"Hah, well, it looks like they're going to be a while, isn't that a Laugh?"

"The goal for our Warriors on this episode is simple; find and kill 'The Big One', ostensive leader of the Invasion by virtue of being the biggest monster there. To do that, they'll have to fight there way into the center of Valoran City Park past the invading horde. Lady Luck explained.

"But of course, there's nothing saying the Star Guardians won't get to it first once they arrive. Now wouldn't that be funny? None of our Contestants achieving the objective!"

"Funny yes, but bad for the game. As such, we're introducing a point system. If none of our Warriors kill The Big One, then the Warrior with the most points wins. Each monster labeled as HUGE will grant one point and Article to whoever deals the finishing blow, as will a Star Guardian, if you really want to take them on." She Continued

"Please do, I'm sure we'll all get a Laugh out of seeing you try!"

"As per Classic rules, killing a Warrior will give you half of their accrued points, rounded down, and an Article of course." Lady Luck finished. "Question is, can you handle the horde without the help?"

"Don't forget, Luck, this is Assassination mode, every Warrior killed is immediately replaced.

"Speaking of Warriors dear, let's take a look at our first set." Said Lady Luck, causing the camera to immediately switch to a view of the park gates, where an octet of plainly colored warp beams struck down in a line.

From the beams stepped a group of wildly variable figures. From the first, a burning skeleton with cloth wrappings, in one hand a bow, under the other arm a strange box. The next, a woman in mismatched armor, a Staff in her hands and a small robotic companion floating beside her. Then a well equipped man, with a white pearl emerging from his chest. A man garbed in steam-punk armor, with a primative rocket launcher hung over his back and a pair of slightly panicking goblins behind him. A plain looking man holding seven cards. A girl with two blades sat atop what looked like a chibi caricature of a tank. A mechanical man with a drone at his side and a dangerous looking hat on his head. And finally a... lamp wielding strange powers.

Quiver of the Urushin Huntsman- Holds 30 arrows.
Wraith-Night Ossuary- Contains one of several Assets.

Abilities:

Strafe- Free action. Allows you to spend all actions on firing arrows for the rest of the turn and gives you +2 Defense against ranged attacks. Takes three turns(including the turn it is used) to recharge.
Searing Arrows- Can be used instead of a regular attack to light the arrow on fire before shooting it.
Skeleton Walk- Makes you invisible for two turns. Enemies cannot obstruct your movement for the duration. Takes three turns to recharge. Ends automatically when you do take a non-free/bonus action.
Burning Army- Summons 4 skeleton archers to your aid. They fire flaming arrows, but will not move under their own power and are fragile. They last for three turns, and you cannot summon more for the next five turns.

Aegis of the Immortal- If you die within the first 5 turns of the Episode, you will resurrect immediately, fully healed.
Vicetopus Shifting- You can transform into the form of a Vicetopus. This form is large, has long, stretchy tentacles, and has exceptional strength, but lacks fine manipulation capabilities. It is also easily mistaken for a Void monster.
Know your enemy- Max is keenly aware of the strengths and weaknesses of most alien species.

Additional:
Dem bones- You are a burning skeleton that looks like he clawed his way out of hell by force. Naturally, you aren't going to make the best first impressions. You are, however, unliving, and creatures/effects that would act differently based on such things will do so.

Abilities:
Gem(pearl)- You have a large, white pearl located directly on your chest. If this pearl is damaged, it counts as damage to your brain. This pearl gives you the following abilities:

• Storage- You can store objects within your pearl
• Weapon Summoning- You can summon Sai from your gem. You may summon as many as you want, but they will disappear after a turn if not being used.
• Hologram Projection- You can project holograms. These holograms can have mass and wield weapons, but will not hold up against a direct attack.
• Bubbling- You can encase objects in bubbles. Then teleport said bubbles to your characters home. You cannot retrieve the bubbles you have done so to.

Shapeshifting- You can change your shape with casual ease into a variety of things. These forms are no more durable than you but may have greater strength. The change is announced with a bright glow from the changing body-parts. Changing shape is a bonus action.
Fusion- You can fuse with a willing Human or Gem, combining the two of you into one being with enhanced versions of both of your capabilities. Both halves decisions factor into your actions, and the more you disagree, the closer you come to de-fusing.

Gnoblar- Being Gnoblar, they are small, weak, cowardly, and lacking in intelligence. -1 to all actions that require being physically capable or intelligent. They are fragile and can survive less damage before dying. They are also easily assumed to be evil, which is generally accurate.

Abilities:

Reversal Field- +2 against projectiles while active. Absorb failed projectile attacks against you for the rest of the turn, fire a blast with all the damage you absorbed at a target(specified on use). Cannot be used next turn.
Pulse Step- Quickly dash forward in any direction. Can be used three times in one action. Cannot be used next turn.
Augment Armament- Alter your Kompressor. The next four shots made with it are explosive and much more powerful. Three turns to recharge, doesn't recharge until ended. Can be ended at will.

Additional:
Science will previal!- You have great distaste for magic(The Androxus abilities are part of your suit). You have a -1 to understanding and utilizing magic itself, and do not like using artifacts.

Red-Winged Heavenly Dance- Requires two swords to be used. A blurring barrage of blades, each strike creating an Air Blade. Can either be focused on one target to potentially deal devastating damage, or spread across several to reduced damage to each of them.
Tenacity- No malice to healing checks from pain, recent injury, or combat.
Detective's Hunch- When you successfully roll for engineering, reveal nearby objects of importance.
Stake Out- For every turn you spend near combat without being part of the fighting, you gain a Token. Every time you perform a non-combat roll, add +1 and spend a token(if you have any).

Energy Bubble- Creates a large, harmful bubble of energy centered around the drone.
Energy Burst- Fires off a harmful burst of energy.

BLB-118 is strong enough to carry a fully sized human(though it has no method of holding one on its own)

Abilities:

Mist- A cloud of smoke constantly pours off of your body. -1 to precision attacks against you, +1 to stealth in dark or misty areas.
smoke-shifting- You can transform into smoke. In this state you can travel at great speeds, effectively acting as short range teleportation, and are impervious to most forms of attack, but your combat ability is very limited until you turn back.
Smoke bomb- Fires a... well, smoke bomb. Releases a cloud of smoke with great force. Potentially painful, but requires very close proximity(such as 'inside the mouth') to cause major damage.
Killer Harpoon- Fires a massive harpoon from your chest.
Smoke blasters- Fire jets of smoke from your hands with force. Good for suffocation, blinding, and potentially executing unlucky victims via popping.

Additional:
Cyborg- Despite the name, your body is effectively all machine. Only the barest remnants of life remains. As such you have no biological needs or life-signs. You are also vulnerable to to things that affect electronics.

Standstill- Creates a flash of light, causing anyone nearby(people can be selectively ignored) to fall into a trance as though unconscious, though they remain completely awake. As a consequence, this invariably effects Thirteenth as well. Victims can be awakened forcefully by doing something suitably jarring to them.

Abilities:
Telekinesis- Allows you to lift and manipulate objects up to your own mass, even though you lack hands.
Will-O-Wisp- Fires four balls of spectral fire that do no damage on their own, but set the target ablaze.
Hex- A damaging curse that is twice as powerful if the target is afflicted with a negative status condition(such as being on fire). Defenders roll is always counted as 5(not including modifiers)
Flame Burst- Fire a blast of flames at the target, with a moderate AoE.
Flash Fire- If hit with fire, you absorb it and your next fire-based attack does increased damage.
Ghost Type- You are immune to mundane unarmed attacks and attacks with makeshift weaponry.
Tinker:Sphere- Scientifically impossible designs for technologies, specializing in the protection of living beings, often appear in your head. Only you can create these things, and only you can understand how they work properly enough to reproduce or maintain them correctly.
Genesis- You gain 'energy' while awake. Upon falling asleep you can create a construct body that you control. It takes one turn to create the construct. If you forget to include important parts it will either drain your energy faster or be crippled. When you run out of energy you wake up. Your real body still exists and is vulnerable.
Bambina- You can launch yourself at high speed and bounce off solid surfaces, creating explosions on contact. You can choose to not bounce or not explode if you want to. The explosions do not harm you. You'd also age slower, if you weren't literally a lamp that is dead.

Additional:
That's a Lamp...- You're literally a sapient ghost lamp. Expect people to treat you far differently from how they would a normal person. This is not helped by the fact that, though you can understand English, you struggle to speak it.

First turn, here we go.

Also just, do remember guys, the city is currently swarming with monsters. So like, don't be surprised if you run into at least a couple little mook creatures anywhere you go. You'll have to be real unlucky to accidentally run into the big boys though(without actively searching for them/proceeding towards the target/them already being fairly occupied by Cerberus forces)
