We can't produce 58 soup-- we only have 30 food! Also, it looks like we have thirty days or so before the great rat flood; I'm not gonna worry about it too much just yet. I dunno it'll even hit us.
I suspect researching hardware will open us options to gain computational power faster. Given the steadily increasing cost of research actions, this seems to
me something worth looking into early.

This plan works for me.
Seems like this world is one where virtual personalities, aka AI, are somewhat common natural occurrences, but are considered dangerous, and typically exterminated.

I don't think we need defenses now, but Leika has told someone about us; we need to consider it soon.
