The way the mechanics were set up ended up very painful to run. I think if I ever do a reboot I'd actually need to write up a program to crunch all the numbers for it to actually be humanly possible to update.

Excel/Google Spreadsheet can have formulas written there that will do various math things, maybe we can make a communal spreadsheet with the required numbers and help you with making the required formulas to crunch the numbers

Yeah, I mean, Google Spreadsheets with some help from Google Scripts would address what I need, if I could be bothered to work on it. One might also say that I could abstract things away and I know some people have been pushing for that but the chaos of mechanics and numbers moving around is pretty much the whole point of this game.
