You look around and for a few seconds, you are blinded by the bright light of the sun, but you quiclky recover from it. As you look around, you see eleven persons from the other Districts. You shudder, realizing that only one of you will leave this place alive.

In front of you, there is the cornucopy, a large tree. On it's roots there are bags full of equipment and foods, as well as many lethal weapons. Your immediate surroundings are a deep forest, but at some distance, you can see some mountains, a city, some sort of amuesment park, a castle...

Meanwhile, a countdown has started.

What is this and how does this work?

This is my first ever RTD, and the setting is the Hunger Games. You are a Tribute, representing your District, and you must emerge victorious to gain fame and glory..., just like every other person in the arena. And only one player shall win.

If you are in trouble, you can always roll for sponsors, so they can send you something that might help you. Also also, random events shall happen, which is meant to lower the numbers.
Obviously, if you believe your skills lack something another player has, you can team up with them! You just need to be ready for the inevitable betrayal!

Can I get to choose my District? Does your District influence the game?

Your District number is chosen in the order of charcter creations, but you can always ask for a yet-to-be-selected. And no, it doesn't help with anything, it's just to separate players

However, acquiring certain weapons or objects might give you bonus for some rolls! Or increase your stats!

Visibly tough and strong from factory work. Her eye seems to greatly assist her reflexes and close range vision.
Personality: Contemplative and optimistic. Views cooperation and self sacrifice as a useful trait. Hates the Capitol. Not squeamish. Used to hard work.
(Optional) A typical district 3 game specialty-a factory cripple who volunteered in her district as a silent snub to the Capitol, sparing those more able to perform their daily work. No reason to win, but hopes to survive as long as she can-and to at least lose while retaining her human dignity.

Description:
Thin, wirey and small. Jolt is eighteen years old and yet she looks like she's on deaths door. Her skin pale, her blue eye's covered by glasses that make her look even frailer.

A hairpin, real gold, filed to be dull by the game makers. Messy braided hair is obvious, smelling of ozone and rats,of the faint smell of someone slowly dying.

She is 4ft9, most likely from lack of nourishment like many non-capitalites.
Personality:Jolt is determined, that's the best way to describe her. Determined and desperate, clawing onto life and holding a clearly spiteful demanor, a desire to survive and prove other's wrong.

A faint whimsical nature lies underneath, a nerdish bookish person who loves to read and knows so much, someone who in more enlightened times would be a teachers assistant or helping out at a library rather then the power plants of district five.

(Optional)It's Jolts only hope of living at all.

She volunteered.

Jolt would not survive the end of the year without medicine, without something to cure her, without a common medicine that could in the capital be easily given, but in the districts was near impossible to obtain. Her body is failing her and her younger and older sister have been helpless, forced to just watch as she slowly withered away and degenrated.

She didn't want to die in bed, diden't want to just lay down and die. Jolt fights with whatever she has left in her body to return home, to be cured of her condition, to give her sister's a life worth living and to be able to live a life not cut short by her condition.

Stats:

Health:1, Jolt is on deaths door, her condition would end her life in a few months most likely, make her bedridden next month. Perhaps a sponsor could deliver her the medicine she needs?
Strength:2, Weakened by her illness and working in the powerplants of District Five, Jolt has never been particularly strong, though some strength could be returned through the medicine she needs perhaps?
Endurance: 5, Jolt manages to still stand and keep going, long hours at the power plants and taking care of a younger sister alongside her older sister alone has led her to be able to continue on despite her illness..
Aim: 12, Jolt is a girl of precision, focused on survival, living on willpower, she's a crack shot, shes focused, she's unlikely to miss.
Agility: 7, She can run, she needs to, needs to be swift.
Camouflage:2, her form dosent blend in well.
Basic Survival Knowledge:12, Jolt knows so much, she's read up on it at home, prepared for these games as best she could before she ever entered the training arena. She's unlikely to die from the arena alone.
Refflexes: 6, Quicker then expected, more sluggish then she used to be. Her days of avoiding electrical malfunctions in the plants might help her.
Weight Capacity:4, She'll struggle, with how weakened she is, She'll likely have to pack light or need a backpack or two.
