The rule "Any new rule that requires the OP to do something, must have OP consent. And can be removed by them later."... seems to have been removed from the OP. I don't think that could have been done within the current rules. This rule does not apply to itself as it does not require the OP to do anything, only grants them new powers. Not sure if OP is being cheeky or a simple mistake. I put it back.

New Rule: If you wish to make a proposal that does not effect game mechanics, and that does not increase the total number of rules, put "Bookkeeping: " before the rest of the proposal title and this does not count against your daily proposal limit. Proposals that do not qualify must not have the word "Bookkeeping" in the title. You may only have up to 10 pending Bookkeeping proposals at any one time.

Reason: This leniency is so that efforts to merge piecemeal rules or word obtuse rules more simply, these types of changes don't need to be one big proposal that may fail for opposition to parts of it.

Global Settings

New Rule: Each Global Director has complete control over their own planet, and may choose the setting. They may have a link placed in the OP to one thread for the world.
New Rule: A Global Director's avatar can change from world to world to conform to the setting. The avatar can be killed by the world's Global Director upon losing a Gladiator Duel they agree to participate in against another Global Director. Global Directors must roleplay their character traveling by some method of their choosing when going from one world to another, and there is a minimum travel time of 15 minutes. Global Directors are always able to post freely in this thread, no matter what world their avatar is on.
New Rule: A Global Director may create duplicates of themselves to be on multiple worlds simultaneously, but if any Duplicate dies, they all do. If the Global Director that died respawns, the Global Directors of the worlds in which they had duplicates have the option to permit them to continue as if nothing ever happened. If duplicates travel to the same world they merge into the one that most recently active on the planet, and they do not need to roleplay arriving.
Rule Revision: If you kill a Global Director you must describe your character slaying theirs and must have an Avatar or Duplicate on the same planet as one of theirs.

Reason: Where's my globe!? I tried to make a compromise for those that want to play on multiple worlds(like King Zultan/Burt), but also have valid reason to choose not duplicate yourself(less ways to die) for those that want a persistent adventure with one character.

Consequences Polished

New Rule: An accuser, who doesn't need to be a Global Director, must make an accusation by posting a Global Director's nickname in bold red font, and any supporting evidence of that Global Director having broken any rules. After posting the accusation the trial will last 48 hours, and there is no limit to the number of active trials. Any Global Director can support the accusation by suggesting a penalty; this can be death, a point fee of some amount and who it would go to if anyone, or both, or nothing at all. If 3 or more non-accuser Global Directors support the accusation when the trial has ended the defendant must suffer the penalty. The third highest penalty is to be enforced, going by death as the maximum and the number of points lost as the secondary scale. The Global Director to suggest the punishment is to carry it out within 1 week of the trial ending. Global Directors can change their suggested punishment or withdraw their support as desired throughout the trial.

Reason: Rules don't mean anything if they are not enforced. And my belief is that perhaps this proposal will make it so new rules are more carefully worded, and reviewed.

I can't believe I didn't put the example into the code box, sorry for leaving you to fish it out of a quote OP. For future reference I am going to edit it in, and correct a few other mistakes in the post.

I won't edit the proposals, and I will probably make proposals a secondary post in the future. There probably should be rule that prevents editing a post that contains proposals after someone else cast a vote, even if not for that proposal, since they may oppose(or support) the new one.

Now I feel confident to offer myself as a referee. If there is a dispute, such as the translation of a rule, or perhaps some weird edge case or something. If I am selected to be your referee, even if there are multiple people involved, this is a 1 on 1 match, so a group will have to choose a hero.

You may informally resolve disputes if you wish with a practice match. But to get my official ruling it must be a match to the death. There's nothing to stop someone from going back on their word if it's just sparring.


Matches are to be resolved with competitors that are either a Global Director, or a citizen that agrees to fight on their behalf.

Also, I was thinking about travel from world to world, and how each pair of worlds could have a special method of travel.

I don't know what it would look like going from Pokémon to Roman Colusseum (time travel?). I was thinking of a rule involving this, but wanted to get your opinion first, as you and I are the only Pure Nomic worlds, except maybe the main thread itself. What do you think?

We can talk on the main thread. There are a few legendary Pokémon that have the ability to time travel. There is also a Pokémon move, teleport, so maybe that can be used as well? Driftblim is a ghost type flying type Pokémon that looks like a hot air balloon, maybe people can use Driftblim for transportation? Being ghost types they wouldn’t have to worry about the traditional hazards of space

I guess we should decide if we want every globe(world) to be in the same universe, or take place in different dimensions. Some pros:
