Proposal: There are two classes of rules: Alpha rules, which govern the Nomic; and Beta rules, which govern any in-game games. Alpha rules are to be listed under an Alpha header. Beta rules are to be listed under a Beta header. Alpha rules are to be referred to as Alpha-1, Alpha-2, and so on. Beta rules are to be referred to in a similar way.

Alpha rules overrule Beta rules.

Reason for proposal: This is to give the Nomic distinctive tiers to make it easier to understand. That way Nomic stuff is in one place and in-game stuff is in another.

Mayhaps disputes could be resolved with RTD Gladiator battles, hosted by a referee. The competitors would agree on one, or one would be chosen randomly if they couldn't. Anyone that volunteered to do it. I suppose this is a new rule proposal.

I'll check it out.
I oppose alpha and beta, for now. I may not change my mind because they may become so intertwined there is no point. And I don't see that as a bad thing.

Also, proposal: If a player does not post to the thread for three days then it is to be assumed to have left the game.

How about:
If a player does not post to the thread for three days than they can be killed by any player, and if killed are no longer signed up. They may resign/respawn at any time. If there is an open slot still.

Reason: If there is a lull in the game as you put it, I don't want the nomic to self destruct.

If a player does not post to the thread for three days than they can be killed by any player, and if killed are no longer signed up. They may resign/respawn at any time. If there is an open slot still.

I am actually going to propose an alternate law to this one:

Proposal: In the case of the OP being unavailable for three days then all active players are to* vote on a replacement OP and make a new thread. When this happens the new OP must link to the previous thread in their OP and to the next thread in their last post in the old thread. OP is assumed to have left the game.

Reason: If I disappear for then you have a lawful means of taking control and continuing.

All players *can vote for a new leader. (rather than you are automatically expunged)

I think this should be elaborated on. What is this for?

Just to have bones for something in the future to attach to. Perhaps there are ways to get experience and skill and abilities, and this can be the start of that. It can also be something to grow so death is actually something to avoid.
