An assassin is sent to Tugtupite.

One morning, Moderus Laudannus falls from the top window of his tower! Rumors about involvement of Siren Runghui, a Centralis Venti agent, surface very quickly.

Centralis Venti, the City of Winds.
..............
Due to miscommunications, please wait.

Army built at 21, 22.

Geeze... two 6s is insane. I kinda would have liked for a spot to free up.

Granted, the monster got a 5. We just proved greater this time.

We deny involvement, she was just sightseeing.

Seriously though. At least we have the supply center, and the node as well. Now we just need a spell.

Raise Armies in 1, 11, 4, and 6

By nature, that would render the contract a bit void, since I was the one who drafted it in the first place. What reason would The Sliver Tower have for giving you additional army and research? Specifically Academics, since I'm going to be giving that to them once I'm done with it.

The Silver Tower
Move army from 9 to 8, engage monster.

Cast call hero.

Offer trade treaty to Envainia (Shadowclaw777)

I will agree to the western sea treaty.  For now, offer sent.

This specifically notes the treaty I drafted. As such, those would be the conditions. Simply accepting one and not the other requires one to go over such a treaty, as The Silver Tower made the Treaty Offer under the thought of us being bound by it.

Finalization of the Knowledge Treaty of the Western Seas.
You had two pending at the moment. Changing your mind after a full season as passed is a bit strange. And you only now bring it up after my turn? For that matter, it was also his turn then. You need to speak up about these things, for Good Faith to exist.

I'll note you made that edit 2 minutes after I finished, and didn't make a new post to clarify.

The Silver Tower

Offer trade treaty to Envainia (Shadowclaw777)[/b]

I will agree to the western sea treaty.  For now, offer sent.

I accepted this singular proposal, not the one you suggested. Since the reasoning of not giving Hero’s Call, also that we’re both researching the same thing why would I want a Treaty with you? Being the arbiter seems to not be your job, and I only brought it up now since it’s the time I have available. Also you put so many random dialogue on the thread that I just ignore and process them out

My URL post has your original quote. You could have made a new post to clarify. as is, The Silver Tower has missed the fact you were only accepting his, not the treaty as a whole. As such, it is invalid, and a different treaty would need to be drafted.

I made that treaty to improve our research as a whole, no matter which side won. However, The Silver Tower only sent it cause he was agreeing to my treaty proposal, as a group of three. You will need to bring it up with him, though I'll note this brings my faith in any treaties you sign to being only worth the paper and ink that were used.

We gave each other power, to become equals. Any war we wage will be fraught with peril, and allow our enemies to simply swoop in while we are busy fighting each other. We however, do not have a reason to spread the knowledge of Curse and Hero Call to others. Even more so as you hold a Node, and can make use of Hero Call.

Deploy armies in 54 and 55 each.
Investigate the death of Moderus Laudannus.

If you don't need a thief, just dismiss them instead of hoping to get them killed off. Pretty sure that's an option.

Because it's likely the Silver Tower accepted it because I brought it up. Therefore, there seems to be a miscommunication.
It's mostly a specific type of treaty... Not that it matters if SC didn't agree to it as written in the first place.

Likewise, my action is no longer valid, due to this miscommunication. So I'll wait for Silver Tower to resolve this.... Not that giving the enemy more ability to defend itself is ever a good thing. Nor the extra research given we research the same thing. If he accepts it, he'll likely be breaking ours at some point...

In my experience, I find that games Haspen runs are very rigid in rules: this treaty likely wouldn't be allowed.

The "treaty" is just an agreement between players, everything else is 3 separate treaties between the 3 in game warlord factions.

If you do not want a treaty with Venti and TricMagic that is fine, but it makes me wonder why.

Also no I don't intend any invasions anytime soon of my southern neighbor.
