You head onward,but pause. A gruff voice sounds through a hole in the hatch cover.
" Wanna hear a jok-"
A second voice chimes in.
" Rovod. Shut up. Minty's cat died and now the shower drain is broken. You're an engineer, right?"
"I am not removing a cat corpse from the shower drain."
" Kay then, engage Operation Burninate."
A third voice speaks.
" Who came up with that name? It's just a machine that will obsidianize the caverns."
"Anyway, there might be a little leakage. See, a kobold cave is currently connected to the, ah, Burninator. I think it is called Figurespurn?"
A horrible sense of dread fills you as you remember that your cave is called Figurespurn.

There is the white spire constructed by a necromancer two days to the east. You keep it on your left, until you reach a pond, and turn right, coming to what should be the entrance to Figurespurn but is for some reason blocked. You peer in through a window. A charred skeleton of a dog is plastered against the glass, surrounded by obsidian.

Attempt to read the "mysterious tablet" we nabbed.

You attempt to put on the helm, but it covers your eyes, even if it had a gap for your snout. You discard the elf clothing.
The tablet reads: Lieutenant Grawp. A sigil, consisting of a twisting Y is carved on the back. It fills you with bloodlust when you touch it. You, in your rage, murder a weasel, then carve the same Y into its flesh, as well as a name. Demogorgon.

You recover from your fit, and discard the tablet. You think. Gildedgates is dwarven, and located in the plains that are filled with tasty, bleeding animals. Wait, what? You keep thinking. Two hamlets are said to be nearby, as well as a dragon's cave. Also you have forgotten your name. You think of several to give yourself, but can't decide. You are also hungry.

Lets put on that robe then head towards any hamlet we know where is.

I can't say this enough times. You know where a dwarven fortress is, but can't navigate to any of the hamlets, but you know at least two exist. You put on the robe over your loincloth. The path away from the ruins of Figurespurn leads to a shrine. A idol of a human girl with a snake's head sits in the center of six dwarves, kneeling in front of the idol. A tiny wooden hut sits nearby. The door is padlocked with a large steel lock. A lizardwoman rests on a padded platform in the corner. She is wearing a loincloth, and a necklace of teeth, mostly human, but a few are from wolves.

The dwarves are very real. You walk up to the lizard person and attempt a greeting. She replies in broken dwarven.
" Hail the queen, the almighty cleanser of worlds, Dragofire. Kneel before her sight, and you may recieve her blessing."
You feel a unearthly presence around the idol. Would you like to attempt a Religon check?

You attempt to remember what the idol depicts. Dragofire is the dwarven god of reptiles, conquest and fire.  She is said to have two preferred forms, although, like any god, she can turn into anything: a cat-sized red dragon, and a fair-skinned human girl with a the head of a blue serpent. She is second only to Armok, and delights in bloodshed, as it honors her father, Armok himself. She gifts her loyal followers with the ability to control and create fire. Her sigil is that of a open-mouthed cobra surrounded by flame.
