How much do airports even cost to build? And what the cost of the other planes are, and what do they do.

7 Iron, 5 Oil for airports.

2 Iron, 2 Oil for Cargo Planes. They can transport 7 units of any material from any ruined building on the map (if you destroy a building with a combat unit or a missile, some of the building owner's resources as well as the resources needed to make the building are dropped on the ground) or give resources to another player, consuming 1 oil per 4 combat spaces (explained when you make your first combat unit) and can move 4 combat spaces per turn. They have 4 HP.

2 Iron, 2 Coal for Biplane Fighters. They're flying combat units that deal 3 damage to other flying units, and 1 damage to anything else, consuming 1 oil per 4 combat spaces (explained when you make your first combat unit) and can move 4 combat spaces per turn. They have 3 HP.

T2 planes, spaceships, and T3 planes are mid-game, mid-game, and late-game respectively, will be a while until you get to them. So I'll explain them when you get close.
