Dwarves not hauling Troll skeleton in kitchen *solved*
« on: August 04, 2019, 10:48:16 am »

I recently dug into a cavern for the first time and saw a troll walk around my base. At first I didn't see it do anything but didn't want to have it cause havoc so killed it with one of my squads. The troll was killed in the kitchen and no matter what I do the dwarves won't haul the body. I set it to be dumped, I made multiple corpse/refuse stockpiles outside (which work fine, human and dwarven children skeletons and other bones are kept there), recently a lot of my dwarves are idle so it's not that, I'm not sure what's wrong. Does anyone know of a way to resolve it? Sick of seeing my dwarves being shocked and disgusted by it when they go for a drink

-EDIT- Realised my corpse pile was full, made a much larger one and the skeleton is immediately moved!

When there is fighting near workshops, sometimes bodies or body parts get stuck in a non-pathable tile of the workshop (deconstruct the workshop if this is the case).

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.
