The Company of Gods
Discovery makes it's home in the skies, building a shifting palace of the clouds. The world above grows to be
Mysterious, promising many secrets to those that seek them out. Floating islands drift by, seemingly held up of their own accord, and the weather grows unpredictable. The realm shapes the deity as well, and
Discovery becomes the first blessed with form. They are a large and vaguely feminine figure whose shape is defined by a mass of swirling derbies, caught in strong wind currents. You feel you could change this if you choose.

Discovery struggles with their will, stretching their infant powers for the first time, and birds of all manner spring fourth, populating the islands and the skies and the whole planet over. Notable among these are a group of shorebirds, the focus of the creation.
Discovery dubs them "pelicans" and they are enormous. Several meters tall, they use their giant bills to scoop fish and small animals from the water to eat. They are loyal to her.
Mutualism lays claim to the seas, building a castle of corals in the deep. The waters around grow
warm and
prosperous. Many reefs fill the shallow waters and even predators seem to balance their instincts. Underwater cave systems litter the ocean floor, and steam vents are common. Beware though, for any that would take from the sea without giving will find the waters unfriendly. Mutualism takes a vaguely masculine from, defined in a mass of knotted seaweeds, sheltering colonies of bio-luminescent plankton that shine like eyes beneath. You feel you could change this if you choose.

His first experiments bare wonderful results. A plethora of arthropods, burst into existence, all made for some manner of service to the creatures of the sea. Chief among these however are massive shrimp like creatures with shells that molt as they grow. Though they start small, they can grow up to unbelievable proportions, carrying whole reefs with them on their shells. They are fiercely protective of the fish and plants, attacking anything that would harm them, and Mutualism aptly names them as gaurdians. They are loyal to him.
Two realms remain to be claimed. The underworld, filled with fire below, and the surface, filled now with trees and hills above.
It would be much more difficult to unseat a God who has established in a real as opposed to contesting a claim, but diplomacy is always an option.
