I suggest we tell her we're going to buy food but we're not sure how.

"Food!" you reply enthusiastically.
Ali smiles in response.
"Hah. Should had known."
You poke her gently.

"Oh. Hm."
After a few seconds of thought she starts giving you directions to a place that she says has food. She tells you to ask for something called Synthsteak and warns you that it shouldn't cost more than 10 credits. If you understand her directions correctly, this place is out on the streets, somewhere deeper inside the main tower. It would be easiest to follow her directions exactly and walk there through the streets but you could also try going through the tunnels and try to find some other way to reach the store.

Last time we tried exploring tunnels we almost got shot

We might need somewhere new to go, so we should start looking.  Besides, there might be even better food than synthmeat.

We don't want Ali to be seen with us, the drug dealers may try to hurt her. We need to keep as low of a profile as we can while we wait for the heat to die down.

Taking Ali will make it less dangerous, she knows the rules of civilization better.  She also might explain things we'll have use for.  And it'll improve our relationship with her further.

How about this guys, we ask her to come, and if she says no, we take the supposedly safe routes.  A bit of a conditional, but that is ultimately what we want to be doing, no?

We should leave Ali at home. It sounds like there's thing threatening her that we don't understand.

I'm not sure whether or not to take the streets or the tunnels.
If we take the streets we're less likely to get lost, and if we act like we belong maybe people won't take notice of us, but there will be plenty of people with the chance to do so.
If we take the tunnels we can learn our way around a bit better, and we'll be more stealthy but if anyone does see us they'll take notice.

Also I realized Eiwhyl said tomorrow, not tomorrow night. So maybe we should go see her first?

And we need to make sure we know the value of our individual credit chips. We don't want to give away a $200 chip thinking it's a $50 chip.
