Just continue watching them, flee if they approach
You sit down, resting your head on your front legs, a small puddle of water expanding around you. You watch the bipeds. Their anxiety drops from overwhelming to major, meaning they are still looking at you with their weapons ready but they are not so tense anymore. After a few seconds they momentarily glance at each other and mutter something before returning to staring at you.

Eventually there is a noise from some other room, some other biped talking. The ones staring at you seem alarmed by this. They yell something in response. Then a small biped emerges from a doorway. A child, probably. This causes even more worry from the two armed bipeds. They move to position themselves between you and the child, making quick, worried noises.

Your dizziness has faded. You are once again able to move normally and attack with your full power.

>Keep waiting?
>Do something?

I kinda wanna wait patiently and see what they do. Don't attack or flee just yet.

Try to look non-threatening. Remain wary of the adults, but if the child approaches let it.

Roll over, to demonstrate you requesting permission to stay on their territory.

I wonder if these can be combined into the turn, e.g. roll over when the child approaches assuming the adults won’t attacj us right away

Look as cute as possible. Being a terrifying monster is all well and good, but spending our childhood as a pet works too!

Yes, we could be the worst of all take home alligators.

Being pet is ok, but we should at least hold out for food first.

<Cat> We are a dragon, we're not going to be anyone's pet. But letting them serve us sounds like a good idea. Maybe make the child our pet. These bipeds seem to have clever hands, that could be useful. </Cat>

Of course we're enemies!  It's just that some enemies are defeated in different manners than other enemies.  We can do mutualism for now, and then as we grow we can convert them into tribute-bearing subjects.

Right. Though Mutualism is where both parties benefit, what’s wrong with that? They help us while we help them. Hindering our helpers will hinder us as well

Oh, perhaps, but if you never push for more, more may never be offered.  Plus if we stay with one group, that means that we aren't staying with another group.  There's lots of options.
