No leaving we are a dragon and we need shiny loot so we must search the break room for loot, we can get a new tail later.

Well... Scoop of some of the shiny stuff, even if it did hurt us. Still a shiny.
I say we press on. Still need to find a shower, right? ;P

Turn the power back off, then, and activate sense inner fire.

If not, lets get back out.  Not to run away, but to get an external view of the ship now that it has moved.

yes, an external view will be helpful. Inner fire might not reveal much, considering there are corpses and droids. I don;t think droids have inner fires

Well, you've seen Eiwhyl treat people with prosthetic arms, so getting a new tail is certainly a possibility (though probably a very expensive possibility) but you'd very much like to avoid losing your nice fleshy tail, if at all possible. The idea of replacing part of your beautiful body with a machine sounds somehow wrong. Not to mention you have no idea how such a prosthetic would react to your magic. Hmm... Maybe if you could get them to put a giant blaster pistol or three in it. And maybe a vibroblade at the tip, for stabbing. And make it out of gold or maybe silver. Yeah, that would almost make up for the loss.

Well... Scoop of some of the shiny stuff, even if it did hurt us. Still a shiny.

You fly up to the ceiling and attempt to collect some of the strange substance. It's not easy, but you know what you have to watch out for and you're very careful. In the end you manage to fill almost an entire bottle with the stuff. When you land, you spend some time examining the bottle, both to make sure it's safe and out of pure fascination. It's entirely weightless, as if the bottle is completely empty and yet you can see the black thing and the distorted air around it, the distortion somehow making it through the walls of the container. Looking at the substance sloshing up and down in response to your movements elicits a great feeling of accomplishment.

Item Gained: Bottle of black distortion fluid
Item Lost: Bottle of water

With the pretty thing now in your possession, you start making your way back towards the front of the ship. Now that you don't have to fight gravity to move around, it's actually pretty easy... which probably means it's also easier for that blind droid that attacked you to move around.

When you reach the intersection leading to the Workshop, you start hearing sounds coming from inside it. Sounds like someone is banging on the other side of a door. Did something in Droid Maintenance wake up and is now trying to get out? If it's another killer Droid, then you probably shouldn't let it out. Not to mention that even if you wanted to open the door, it's melted shut, it would require a lot of effort or some sort of tool to open. You decide to leave it be for now and keep going.

You keep going, moving more silently now so as to not attract the killer droid. You eventually reach another intersection. The door marked "Missile Bay" is locked but the "Break Room" is open. It has some vending machines and even a small kitchen. It's bulky, old, dusty, everything is strewn about randomly. But there's water here, assuming those faucets in the kitchen still work. There's even signs pointing to a refresher, if you're lucky there might be a shower in there. The only problem is what all that noise might attract.

A bit further up ahead you can see some sort of small waiting area. In it, standing right in front of a large elevator, is the Droid. It's just standing there, occasionally taking a few steps or moving its head as if looking around. Next to the Droid there's what's left of a skeletal corpse, a fragile thing that must have broken apart recently. On the left and right of the elevator you can see small maintenance doors.

Lets go into the break room, shut the door, then go to the refresher, shut that door, and try to shower off as quietly as possible.

Look for a way to distract the droid first, get it in a different part of the ship.

Can we have our own datapad play something?  Then if we can put it somewhere out of reach from the robot, it'll go for that instead of us, and just hide out below that.  If we pick something that lasts like twenty minutes before stopping, we can have our shower, and once it's quiet do another distraction to get our datapad back.

Well, it could work for the short term but you're not sure how long it would last. After all, it's not mindlessly attacking every source of noise, otherwise it would be tearing into the ventilation system right about now (which, by the way, has made the air quality much better while you were unconscious). So there's a good chance it would either lose interest and wander off or find a way to destroy your datapad. Then again, it seems content to just stand around doing nothing, so maybe just making some noise to mask any noise you make would be enough.

Look for a way to distract the droid first, get it in a different part of the ship.

Lets go into the break room, shut the door, then go to the refresher, shut that door, and try to shower off as quietly as possible.
do this
You quietly enter the Break Room and have a look around. Tables and cutlery have been broken and tossed about by the ship's crash and subsequent movement. It looks like the break room was still in use when whatever happened here happened. Beneath a table you see the broken skeletal remains of some humanoid creatures, two of them you think.

Looking at the refresher, it turns out to be two tiny rooms, each barely large enough to hold two people at the same time. Going in there would mean less chances of the Droid hearing you but also more chances of becoming trapped there if it does. One of the refreshers has an uncovered vent, you could maybe squeeze through it to escape but not easily. That same room has another skeletal corpse but this one appears to have suffered heat damage on parts of its clothing. Maybe an electrical accident? Maybe a blaster shot? You can't really tell. You notice a yellow keycard sticking out of the frayed clothes it's wearing.

You silently pick up a plate (a thin metal disk that people put their food on), walk out to the hallway and throw it towards the back of the ship. You're hoping that if you throw it far enough the droid will hear the noise coming from the workshop and go investigate that. The throw is good but suddenly the plate starts turning, changing its course. It collides with a wall and comes clattering down a short distance away.
"Investigating disturbance."
The droid starts walking towards you. You hide next to the doorway and wait for it to pass. It passes by you and keeps going until it reaches the plate. You slowly peek out of your hiding spot and check to see what it is doing. It's just standing around. After a while it attempts to walk a short distance, bumps into a wall, turns around and walks a bit in the opposite direction. Gah, it's so helpless! It would be such an easy kill if it didn't have so much armor. It would hardly be a threat if its hearing and ability to maintain its balance wasn't that good.

Refresher! Use um, the one that doesn't have a corpse that looks like it died of electricity. Do steal that yellow keycard through.

Just throw something else to get the robot to go away.

Died of electricity..

Use another plate to get a few moments respite from the robot, and then turn on the corpse refresher, but don't have a shower yet.  Try to get the robot stuck in that room.  While it's in there, block the door with furnature and junk.  Then use the other refresher.

You turn around and head to the corpse with the keycard. You grab the yellow keycard and activate the flow of water.
Item gained: yellow keycard
The faucet coughs and sputters, spewing a mixture of air and gunk. It takes a few seconds until it finally starts producing surprisingly clear-looking water. Predictably the noise is enough to attract the attention of the droid.
"Investigating disturbance." the droid announces.
It then turns around and bumps right into the wall. Maybe you're overestimating its capabilities.
"Maintenance required." it states the obvious as it continues bumping and tripping its way to the refresher.
Finally, it reaches the door and stares into it. You stand close to the door, doing your best to remain absolutely silent. Just that moment you feel an irresistible urge to scratch yourself but manage to restrain yourself, for now.
"Attempting to identify... failed. Removing source of sensory interference."
Just as you hoped, it walks into the refresher. You wait until it has reached the faucet and then press the button that closes the door. The door begins sliding closed with a screech and then shudders to a halt, remaining halfway closed. The droid turns to face the door. Not good. You press the button again. The door continues screeching and sliding until it becomes completely closed.

Unfortunately there's no way you can see to lock the door, at least not from this side, so you do the next best thing: you drag a table and a couple of chairs to the pile and wedge them in front of the door as best as you can. You hear some noise coming from the refresher, mostly the sound of metal banging against metal, but it doesn't open the door. You figure your barricade will help keep it inside should it find a way to open the door or at least alert you to that fact so you can run away.

You make your way to the other refresher, remove your pack and set about cleaning yourself. There's no shower here, so you end up having to use the sink, splashing water on you and everywhere around you. It's not as relaxing as you would had hoped (you can still hear the droid moving about, though it sounds like it stopped trying to escape), but at least it brings with it some measure of relief.
Status lost: dirty dragon

As you finish cleaning up you hear a commotion from the vent above you. Is it trying to escape through the vents? There's more noise and then something explodes, the vibrations strong enough to knock the vent cover out of its hinges and send it clattering to the floor. The echoes of the explosion are drowned out by more noise coming from the refresher, more banging against the walls and door. Soon after you start smelling burnt plastic.
