Could you break down the bonuses for me a bit more, please?

6+1+1-2-2-1 = 3

6 was the roll
+1 for range finding
+1 for bridge tower
-2 because enemy is Evasive and Light Tonnage
-2 because...?
-1 because of Archerfish's evasive manuevers.

Not sure where the second -2 came from; by my count she should have hit 5 for both cannons.

+1 from rangefinding, +1 from rangefinders on bridge tower, -2 from Archer Fish's maneuvers, -2 from Freedom's maneuvers, -1 from Freedom's light tonnage.

Aaah, okay, I thought Evasive manuevers was -1, not -2.

My mistake.  I guess our team needs to come to Quarter speed or else no one can damage each other.  Too bad for Naturegirl; I guess she didnt know, either.

Yeah, and next battle onwards EM's will give -1 penalty instead of -2. After all, the goal of the game is destruction of enemy team, not personal survival, which seems to be mindset of most of players :P

To be fair, the survival of some team members is required to be the last team standing

Quarter speed isn't needed, just don't be evasive while shooting at a non-heavy evasive target.....

Hilariously, if everyone turns on Evasive Maneuvers and refuses to leave them, the match will end in stalemate; for as things currently are no-one's heavy or damaged enough to drop them out of that guaranteed miss range.

Speaking of next battle, I've finally designed a satisfactory torpedo system. It's powerful, but comes with very limited ammo:

Quote
Torpedo Tubes: A system of two launching tubes as well as a magazine of 4 torpedoes. Each Torpedo deals 3 Damage, but can only hit Under Compartments (UCs).
Cost: 25 Resources
*Intact: Allows launching of up to 2 Torpedoes every 2 Turns.
*Damaged: Allows launching of up to 2 Torpedoes every 3 Turns.
*Destroyed: Torpedoes cannot be launched.
**Special: Can only be placed in 1st Under Compartment (UC1). Torpedoes cannot be launched when the Ship is performing Evasive Maneuvers.

Warplanes? Still no working prototype, sadly, it will either require a new class of ship, or some very tough redesigning of Deck Compartment system, neither of which I feel inclined to add.



MF Bone Apart vs HMS HammerTime:
DC1 Main: 3+1+1+1-2-1 = 3 < 5, miss!
DC2 Secondary: 6+1+1+1-2-1 = 6 => 5, hit! Comproll: 5, DC Main Battery is hit for 1 Damage and is Destroyed!
DC4 Tertiary: 5+1+1+1+1-2-1 = 6 => 5, hit! Comproll: 4, DC Tertiary Battery is hit for 1 Damage!

The shots from MF Bone Apart greatly reduced the firepower of their enemy!

Interestingly, if tertiary batteries worked as advertised in the OP, then they could provide "+4" to hit - ignoring the -2 from both your own and enemy EM.

not useless, if there is no armor plating and you are not in evasive maneuvers and the enemy is, then the -2 wouldnt be there because not affected by enemy evasive maneuvers
Non Tertiary:[roll]+[bonuses]-[Your Evasive]-[Enemy Evasive]

Tertiary:[roll]+[bonuses]-[Your Evasive]

It is still useful
