3/3 (or any full fraction) means it is fixed next turn.  It's been that way for reloading, too.

I think the confusion arose because damage control switched to 3/3 sometime between his last turn and this turn. So, before his turn he saw 3/3 and assumed it would be fixed.

Checking back, it happened when Jilladilla shot him.

And that is exactly why I chose to have my ship be Medium Tonnage (even if at the very edge of the Medium-Heavy split); if I was captaining a full Dreadnought like eS's Par Excellence or Kashyyk's Indecipherable that would have been a hit.

Same as before; 1 Secondary on the HMS Freedom; everything else (1 main, 1 secondary, 1 teriary) fire on HMS Hammertime. Continue Quarter Speed.

DC4 Tertiary: 6+1+1+1+1-2-1 = 7 => 5, hit! Comproll: 6, UC1 Ammo Magazine is hit for 1 Damage!
Ammo Magazine Roll: 1, AMMO EXPLOSION! Damage roll: 2+4 = 6 damage!

MF Tortue d'Acier vs HMS Freedom:
DC5 Secondary: 5+1+1+0-2-1 = 4 < 5, miss!

While the barrage mostly missed the intended targets, a crucial shot penetrated ammo storage and ignited the cordite within. Fortunately, the resultant explosion did not tear HMS HammerTime in half, but only left a crater in its hull.
