Gridhood - Divine Duel: Turn 21 - Learning about Food

Gridhood - Divine Duel: A tale of Eternal Hatred and Farming!

Here's a new take on an old classic. Two parts Gridhood, one part Arms Race! Same gridhood style, but there are only two gods. The gods are controlled by players and they hate eachother! The map will be dividen into two halves, and the gods are only able to directly affect things on their own half of the map!

The rest of the players start off as a Civilization, on a tile created by one of the gods. United under one god, stand alongside your fellow tribes and bring monotheism to this land through bloody war!

But before you do that, you'll need to master a little something called basic survival, and try not to starve to death!

Once the two god players are decided, the game can start in earnest! In order to encourage players to make god applications even if they don't think they will be accepted, the people who make a god application will get get top priority for getting to play as a civilization if they don't make the cut for godhood.

As the game progresses, new game mechanics will emerge. Rules will always be added to the first post so keep checking back here.

All actions that affect a tile or involve a tile must include the tiles co-ordinates. No exceptions.

websim.ai is coming dangerously close to being able to run Gridhood. Maybe I'll live to see the day if I exercise, eat right, and somehow convince the world's governments not to nuke everyone.

Post here, I am god. Supernerd is GOD. That is all for now. Need to look for a name. Already knew first thing who'd I pick to be the god.

God Name: Aeroith, Cait Sith of Magic, Grand Magus. And fledgling god.
Backstory: Aeroith was once an ordinary mortal, who was taken for her peoples safety. But in the mists, many have fallen to the wayside. In time, she learned from her captors, watchers of the dead, and eventually hatched a plan to kill them and escape. But low, it has left her weakened. She has retreated to one of the empty planes to heal, having stolen the power of the Gods. But in the distance, another god has arrived, wanting this plane for themselves and their own goals.
Explanation about why you will not quit playing this game in the foreseeable future: I am back. Though the Cait Sith fall to obscurity again and again, this time, they shall not, and all shall know her name and Legendary Discipline in all things. Also, short of my computer breaking, I will be around most days. May the Gridhood live, and smite the Non-Posters!

More will be added based on who the other god is.

Goddess: Wolf Of The void
Backstory: was a creature of the endless void, until matter collided to create Lupine form. She looks like a wolf made out of a thousand stars, with galaxies and nebulae creating divine flesh.

Why I will not leave in the foreseeable future: I am back from vacation.

Civ name: Viking Doggos
Tile: TBD
Description: think Khajit but dogs.

If we do not get at least two god player applications, then the answer to "When will the gods make tiles" is "Never".

Reading the first post is a good idea, because not all Gridhood games are exactly the same. In order to encourage players to try for one of the two god spots despite the limited availability, players who make a god application get top priority for being accepted as a civilization player. Even above players who make a civilization application before its actually possible to play as a civilization.

God Name:Yara
Backstory:Energy and matter congealed together to form a sphere. This sphere had thoughts and the ability to form itself. So it decided to take the form of a bird made of stone. It uttered a noise. Yara, it said. And so that is what it called itself.

Ooh, fresh game-- and by Supernerd himself!
I most heartily approve of Fey-cat and Void-dog.

hello. My name is Yara. I am aware that this universe can only support two gods, but we can talk here until The Decider determines which two will remain
