Goin' on vacation for 2-3 days, will be back on Saturday. May not be any updates in the meantime.

Next episode of The Good Ship Twelvebay: Probably Three Crossings, unless the vote gets upturned.

I want to go to the DEEP SANDS, because its like going to the beach but with out the ocean and with a chance that we could all die.

It's been fairly uneventful in that no-one has come down with a third case of cholera or spontaneously generated Ebola or the like, but there have been some notable events.

Spoiler: Spooky Times (click to show/hide)

At any rate we've made merry progress through the Deep Sands, and have come to another crossing. Turns out this is something of a design error, as actually clicking the "Three Rivers" option takes you backwards along that route. The South Pass means we have reached the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the South Pass being the gently sloping trail that is generally preferred for that crossing.

It's still technically Late Summer. This all seems seasonally ideal. Once we get across the Rockies I believe we will pass through part of Utah. Salt Lake City is on the map, I expect heat may become a concern, though we'll be passing through there in autumn/early winter.

I didn't think Utah was on the way to Oregon. I went there once and we all died of thirst, turns out the only water in the desert is soda lakes that taste bad and make you sick. I hope the booze doesn't run out.

Maybe we should res, then see who is around
We've made good time, though. I don't want to slack off right before the trickiest part (up and down mountain passes).

When we leave, I vote for South Pass.

I'm curious to see if there are any Mormons in this game.

I believe there are a few missions out here that are Mormon, from what I can remember.

Presumably if Salt Lake City is out here it is in fact populated by Mormons (Quick edit, I checked and it will not exist for another 2 years.)
