This was for if you couldn’t be cured, so as to not endanger the rest of the crew. If you no longer have cholera, then there is no longer a problem. Now we know that we can cure it, so such action will no longer be suggested

Rope got the majority of votes. IIRC you have to make a similar decision when you come DOWN the hill as well. If ropes work I'll just do it again.

All things considered we have spares of all of these items (I did buy some initial sundries like canteens, lanterns, etc, they were like .05c ea) and bacon is made of meat which is made of animals and we can find those anywhere.

Fun fact, it did not place us at the top of the hill. We still had to make it up the hill, and ropes and chains did work a second time. So we're off again.

Final edit, our morale is low for some reason. Any ideas how to improve that? Our guide doesn't really mention it.

The rations are by default set on filling, which is the maximum.

We could also slow down the pace (risk of a longer winter travel time) or rest for a few days.

Why i do believe it is our friend, Dinner Bison. So named because he is dinner now.


Ok there were multiple Bison and I was unaware of the volume of food contained therein. This is the most 'Murrican thing we've done yet. This rifle is amazing though it just one-shots anything from bears to bison.

Not really, but it is the next major river. Looks to be fairly tame, though it is noticeably deeper than the others.

Additional Note: On the other side of this river is Fort Laramie. Perhaps we can GO SHOPPING again? We'll find out.

River conditions can be seen at the bottom left of the screenshot.

Fairly normal. However, the "treacherous" one from earlier was a good half-foot shallower IIRC. The guidebook says floating is for deep rivers, and fording is for shallower. It does not give a clear break between the two.
