While sitting down, Lucas loosened his gauntlet to get some fresh air for his right hand, and started taking notes of the events of the raid. It didn't take too long for him to speak up.

: Is it just me, or did the reinforcements come in too soon? We didn't let anyone escape, and we didn't see any scouts approaching us during the raid, right?

"....perhaps there didn't need to be."

[Haspen]

"What do you mean?" Cedric glared at Orietta.

"You think someone was a spy for them?"

Normally, Marietta would try to insist that she was fine. Even though she made her opinions pretty loud and clear when need be, she hated showing that she came off worse in a fight... unfortunately, there was pretty much no hiding that she took a very bad beating that fight. With a groan, she simply nodded.

"Be my guest... nrgh..."

"We must consider the possibility. Their supplies were too lightly guarded, their reinforcements came not a minute after they cleared off, and there was something they said earlier; "If our friend was successful, they willl have nowhere to run and hide." The possibility crossed my mind at that moment, but I was too busy getting Sylvianne and myself out of danger to bring it up."

: ...We should get back to camp as soon as possible.

[Haspen]

Cedric's brows furrowed as he thought about this for a long monent.

"Johannes!!" He spat in anger and then tugged on his horse's reins.

"Plan has changed, everyone! We must make back to the camp as soon as possible. A traitor is amongst us, and Godfried must learn of this!"

[RedMageCole]

Marietta groaned loudly.

"God damn it, Cedric, I'm bleeding out...!"

Despite anything Marion was trying to do with her, Marietta attempted to stand up and clearly was not doing a good enough job at it, stumbling a little bit.

"F-fuck, fuck, o-ow... ow... i-is there room on that horse for two, Marion...?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Cedric, we can't move until Marion has time to work." She turned to gesture at Marietta, indicating that the girl should stay put for now. "Their ambush failed, they'll be regrouping as well. We have time."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Ah, calm your ass, Cedric."
"If they sent an attack to the camp, us spending a few minutes to heal up won't matter."
"They're either dead or they're not."
She took off her helm and clipped it once more to her belt. She caught Marietta by the arm and steadied her as she tried to rise.
"Steady."

: By that logic, it doesn't matter if we're healed up already, the attack is already over. But they're not wrong, we can spend a bit putting ourselves back together. If you're that restless, you could go and scout ahead. I could go with you, my injuries are pretty much healed.

[GiglameshDespair]

"We want to be healed in case they're still there, genius."
At his idea, Eloise cocked her head and considered it.
"Think you can keep up with me through the forests?"

Marietta was just about ready to fall back down onto the ground, feeling really relieved that everyone was advocating for staying put, but she wanted to try to stand up... and yet she stumbled one times too many, about to take a fall, before she was caught by Eloise. Though she rarely showed a softer side, her cheeks did turn a slight pink as she was caught and steadied, feeling a lot more stable than before... still badly wounded, but steadied.

"S-steady, got it... um... thanks."

: H-he does have a horse though...

Cedric gritted his teeth.

"A moment of rest, then!"
