Once he turned a corner, Joram had a better look at the place - it was some sort of audience hall, or at least a ranked man's office, appropriated with makeshift beds and a fireplace for a primitive barracks. Rolled-up bedrolls, crates, clothes, pots and bowls were stacked neatly against the walls, awaiting return of whatever person - or considering amount of the stuff stored, a group of persons - who currently owned this place.

~~Enemies Turn!~~

"Lookit! Dem thieves! Rifling thru our stuff!"

"Dang them all! Butcher them!"

"Ain't ya guys exaggerating a bit? They could be-"

"Patrolling soldiers!"

"Graverobbers and rapists!"

"Crazy murderous cultists on a headhunting rampage!!"

"..."

"..."

"...What? Ya never know these days! Could be demon worshippers for all we know..."

"Well, I'm gonna put an ax in their heads and ask dem questions later! Who's with me!?"

"Wait, but-" The poachers and bandits were already yelling their way forward. The tall axeman let out a groan-slash-sigh.

"Mom's warned me. Is a thug life.."

"Cedric, look! They're coming from the other side, too!"

"Oh no! We can't allow ourselves to be flanked! Lucas, come with us!" Both Cedric and Johannes sped northways!

This was going to be a piece of cake.

"Now this is more my style!"

Marietta moves to 8, 14 and equips her Iron Rapier.

Taking a combat stance, she takes a deep breath as she prepares herself, ready to tear through as many people as possible. She takes a few practice swings, and- comes within an inch of slicing Chaunce's wyvern before she holds herself steady. She suddenly becomes aware of him and Margrethe being too close to her.

"Eek! What are you both doing so close!? Get going, you'll get hurt by those bows and those axes!"
