Suddenly, the hobo gurgled and went limp in Marietta's stranglehold.

"Hey, I'm talking to you-"

Suddenly, Marietta noticed he went limp. She looked shocked for a brief moment, then just looked annoyed as she started shaking him.

"Hey! Don't play with me, I was not holding you that tightly! Don't make me look bad in front of everyone, damn it!" Though she sounded angry, there was a hint of nervousness and just a bit of sweat coming from her forehead.

"...You just throttle him?"

"H-He's clearly faking it! I wasn't holding him that tightly! Seriously!"

"Check his pulse or something, then. See if you haven't just wrung his neck like a chicken."

Grumbling, Marietta set him on the ground and checked for a pulse, trying to avoid any comments about how he basically was being a chicken.

[Haspen]

The hobo coughed right at Marietta when she leaned toward him.

The second the hobo coughed on Marietta, she felt immediate relief, before her entire body started to shake with complete revulsion and anger after she felt the flecks of his cough fall on her. She prepared to go for her sword, her hand mere inches from the handle... before she groaned and moved away from the hobo, hurriedly wiping away the spit with her cape.

"Someone else do the interrogation before I finish the job... fucking disgusting, fucking gross, god dammit, ew..."

Marion stepped forward and took Marietta's place. As the other woman stepped away she spoke to the hobo, gently but firmly.

"Hans? I believe that you're telling the truth about just looking for food. But the people that sacked this camp killed our friends, and we need to know what you know about them."

"All you need to to do is tell us everything that you know about what happened here. If you saw anyone else, where they came from, where they went.

"If you're very helpful, I might even be able to get you some food. But you need to help us first.

[Haspen]

The hobo looked at Marion and then stood up, still huddling a bit from potential blows. His eyes were sparkling.

"Hans will do as Angel asks... for food." He rubbed his nose a bit.

"Hans came here to beg for food, but nobody was at the gate... so Hans pushed the gate and looked inside... oh, there was them soldiers, killing kids and the like." Hans snorted.

"Hans isn't stupid, so Hans didn't risk his skin for some kiddos... so Hans waited until killings were done. Then the soldiers took the blue girlie with them and left, so Hans snuck in to rob the- the food stores. Hans is hungry. Angel gives food now, right? Had a deal with Hans?" But then, Cedric, like vulture, fell upon Hans, grabbing the hobo by arms.

"They captured Luitgard!? Which way they went??"

"HansdoesntknowHansjustwantsfoodHansisinnocent!"

"Where did they take her!?" The hobo, unfortunately, started babbling again.

"Cedric, get him some food. We won't be able to get more out of him like this. Even something like an apple, a piece of bread."

Lucas had no idea what the deal was with the hobo, but when Cedric started shaking him like a crying baby he tried to stop him.

: Cedric, stop! We already know where they took her!

Cedric let off the hobo, who fell onto his back, still babbling.

"Right... right, I'm sorry."

: "Yes, those tracks from earlier must be where they took Sister Luitgard, but we should still remain cautious, perhaps the consort's dogs expected pursuit after all, no use running from an ambush to charge into another."

[Haspen]

Cedric, however, did not listen, and have already climbed onto his horse.

"Ambush or no ambush, I'm not leaving Luitgard to these dogs."
