Jorne moves to 1,12, picks up Cedric and escapes incomprehensibly into a tile nearby.

All of the rebels escaped safely!

"Sir Maertens! They've escaped into the forest!"

"Bah, then chase them! Go on foot! Find a path for the horses! Get them! GET THEM!!"

But Cedric and his company was already speeding away into the depths of the forest, where their camp was located!

~~Prologue Complete!~~

Few minutes later, when rain started anew, Cedric ordered the group to a stop, listening for the sounds of pursuit - but there were none. He took a deep breath, and sighed.

"That was way too close." He looked over at his companions, most of them bloodied, bruised or burdened with loot. "Everyone's alright?"

As it turns out, sprinting away at full speed while you were carrying coins worth about 900 gold and a sword, all while you were beaten to a bloody pulp and barely within an inch of passing out... was not a good idea. Halfway through sprinting, Marietta started to almost trip over herself, and grit her teeth just praying to be able to stop. As the group was finally ordered to stop, Marietta slumped against a tree, trying to keep her sword wounds closed up... god, she really should have asked for some sort of healing before she started digging around in the wagon. A little bit of blood was coughed up.

She could barely talk in response to Cedric as she both tried to catch her breath and not lose a lung.

"Just... peachy..."

There was just a hint of obvious sarcasm in her voice.

"We're alive....which is as best as we can say forn ow, I suppose."

Lucas slumped down, trying to catch his breath, eventually sitting next to a tree.

: Slightly beaten... *huff* exhausted, and overexerted from magic... But still breathing. And with a new tome out of it.

"I'm a bit dinged up, but nothing I can't walk off, Cedric." She slid off of the horse she'd been riding on the back of as she spoke. "I think we need some attention over here, though," she said with a gesture towards Orietta and Marietta

"Marion, please see to the healing. We can't stay here too long - I'm anxious to make as much distance from the enemy as possible, as well as get back to the camp, too. These supplies are much needed there."

Marion finished retying the bandage on her arm. It would need attention later, but the cut wasn't life-threatening, and she could have Sister Luitgard deal with it when she got back to camp.

"I understand. I'll be quick about it, Y- Cedric."

Marietta looked by far the worse off of the two, so she knelt by the swordswoman first, setting her supplies and stave beside her.

"May I take a look?"

She was already reaching for the staff.

Markus was trying his best to not clutch at his bleeding gut wound by this point, putting up a brave face as he joined up with the rest, noticeably lagging behind a bit.
