Small change for j jump?
« on: July 09, 2019, 06:16:43 pm »

If you ever used j to jump in adventurer mode you would know it takes two movement spaces, right?
I find myself wanting to do a short jump sometimes, picking the inside of the jump area. I think it would
be cool.  8)

Isn't that mostly the same as walking?

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

A wizard has turned you into a wagon. This was inevitable (Y/y)?

You can't walk off a ledge but you can jump off, let me set the scenario.
Your character is standing on the edge of a 2 story cliff, there are
enemies surrounding you leaving you with no escape except to jump.
you look down the cliff and see stable ground but ahead of it is a pool of lava.
if you jumped you would most certainly land in the lava pool, but if you
could short jump you would land on the stable ground.

Alt-move allows you to step off cliffs and such.

That close enough to what I wanted, seems good. 8)
