Ah sorry, meant to rephrase. I know I'm still in it with 1 family, and was wondering how lucky I was to even have that.

Nice to know this is being watched closely though. Damn, that was quick! :P

Turn 19

The Ironbeards

Your miners bring in 7kgs of Limonite.

Copperbacks

As your men move into the deep, the amphibians attempt an ambush. Croaking and squeaking pale froglike beings, eyeless and horrid fall in great hordes upon your warriors and dogs of war.

It turns into a slaughter, the Fliers of Emptiness, their eyes glittering red in the darkness fall upon their prey with ease, butchering the amphibians in their dozens. The others attempt and fail to keep up as these things from the deepest places of the earth fall upon their kindred spirits. Withing the day the third mineshaft is clear again...well except for that voracious cave crawler.

You also Dig Deeper in Shaft 2 and 4
While Mining the Magnetite in Shaft 4 You Discover Native Platinum! (speaking of absurd luck, you once again find platinum...in the same vein of magnetite you already found two veins of platinum...)

YOU DUG TOO DEEP!

As your miners in shaft 2 begin some benign exploratory mining until they stumble into a vast cave...it seems well enough until what they presumed to be mundane fungal trees turned out to be plump helmet men...hundreds...and armed. These ones won't be eaten so easily. Your Explorers suffer heavy losses trying to escape the seemingly berserk little creatures but ont heir way out they spot a large structure made of an unknown black stone in the distance. Two Squads of Miners are lost in the chaos, but at least one managed to escape to tell the tale...

The Youngbloods
You discover a Vein of Black Pyrope!
You also make 360☼
Seeing that you are making a comeback more families flock to you again. Especially since potential Copperback petitioners withdrew their offers after teh disaster in shaft 2

GM Notes:
Well Kashyyk i thought this absurd streak of luck would never end...especially after that THIRD platinum vein in the same magnetite vein...but you managed to handily replace a stroke of good luck with one of horribly bad one...you crit failed three times when digging to deep...in the same place, both exploratory miners and the lignite miners rolled hilariously bad.

I know I’m just watching, but it looks like a good idea to actually trade with the serpent men, considering you all agreed to trade with them

I would, but the implications that they may just take my miners, and with me having so few, means I cannot risk such an endeavour.

Clan Ironbeard
Both miners to Mineshaft 3 lvl 1 Gold vein.

Process the Limonite, do not sell.

Did I not form the Clan Warrior squad?

Also, how much are the mercenaries charging for their retainer fees?

Okay after some going back and forth on retainer fees i decided to make them random, meaning they change depending on your luck:

An Unnamed Group of Raiders - a Squad of King Cobramen 80☼
A Group of Deserters - Squad of Humans 50☼
"The Fliers of Emptiness" - a Squad of Batmen 70☼
Younglings from Cebela Athama - a Squad of Elves 30☼

I have pretty much been on autopilot these last few turns, and that isn't fair to my fellow players. If someone else is interested, I would like to give my place to them. Thank you for running this.
