You land, puncture a hole through the inert grob's frame, and sihion away its blood. The shell that remains is eerie in its lifelessness.
Satisfied with your meal, you train your sensors on a choice couple of the grob's components. You are able to learn a little.

I feel too shit to do this properly right now, but you are able to fill up on material and rolled a 2 to find something else, which means you waste a turn. Next roll is a... 1, so that will be interesting.

I was going to say that we use our Replicator to make Our First Drone[TM] out of this Material. We have wings, dumb them down from Advanced.
Mind? Well, it's essentially a preprogrammed Soul, right? Incapable of major self-reprogramming? Cool.
Frame?  Again, simplify our own.

Basically, Our First Drone[TM] is us but simplified.
