Sorry I haven't been online in basically ever, but I'm still fine with keeping the server up as long as people are still using it.

I successfully delivered 2 villagers to Moria! Not sure if it's the fact that I fixed the portal rotation, or that they were children, but neither of them disappeared.

There's also a new tier made by upgrading diamond. Not sure I want to bother to enchant a whole new set of weapons and armor.

Is there a list of who's who? I can't remember which thread it was, but there it had an online spreadsheet with everyone's B12 name & [game] name.

I've been working on making the First Hearth arena functional. The Nether Rail now connects to a portal under the arena so you can send villagers there for sport.

Next I'll create portals that lead from a zombie spawner to the arena. Maybe I'll add a sunroof so we can have fights during the day without the zombies burning.

Edit: I've got the portals set up. Now I just need some clever way to lure the zombies between portals, since I can't use water in the nether. Will probably involve a villager they can't reach.

Edit II: I set up a villager behind a fence to lure them, but unfortunately the portal isn't transporting them. I think there's some kind of cooldown time for mobs being able to use portals.

Apparently soil sand placed underwater creates an uplifting bubble column. I played around with some boat (and minecart) lifts in creative, so that'll be much easier than trying to expand the existing lift in First Hearth.


The nether update is now adding gold ore to the nether. Also, you'll be able to keep enchantments when upgrading diamond to netherite gear.
