Finished constructing a basic rail line from First Hearth to Pillar Watchtower. Still need to add a second lane, raise the ceiling so you don't get hurt when you jump out of the cart, and construct a proper station at both ends.

Edit I: I put in the second lane and raised the ceiling. It's functional now, but I need to put in a bunch of glass panes for mob safety.
Edit II: Glass is done. Just need the station buildings.
Edit III: Rail line is done.

Began building a farm of sorts all the way out in the plains to the west of First Hearth. Thinking of raising the sheep for food, once I get the wheat.

Starting a fortress in a mountain near (1382, 78, 120). Intended to house villagers, but we need OP commands to get them.

And a Blaze Rod to make the brewing stand. Unfortunately, blazes only spawn in nether fortress chunks, which don't exist without structures.

It gives new tools and dimensions to explore. Unfortunately doesn't serm to be updated for 1.14.

There probably are some mods out there which will encourage exploration.

Entrance tunnel has fortifications to shoot arrows through.


The ceiling can dump water or magma using a dispenser+bucket. (Magma isn't compatible with the cobblestone fence cover, though.)

While I'm not typically a vanilla player, MP/RP has a way of breathing life back into this game.  While I like some of the more industrial mods for some tasks, a few choice mods like those that have been suggested might help a little.  For now, just PTW.

I've completed the rail line from Pillar Watchtower to Fort Squidward. Candy spire with nether portal is next.

Also, we've got potatoes growing now.
