I discovered a giant tree taiga (5320 66 -2320) en route to the mushroom island (5308 84 -3558). I grabbed some mycelium and coral and also built a nether portal (nether coords 668 74 -448).

Finished marking a path through the nether to the mushroom island portal. It's beyond the swamp portal. Would've brought back some mooshrooms, but I accidentally pissed off the pigmen while trying to put out some fires.

I've been thinking about building a second portal in First Hearth to avoid traveling through the wizard tower each time. Putting it inside the arena seems like a good idea, so we could transport villagers from the gulag and have them run a zombie gauntlet for their freedom. I'd want to wait for the arena to be finished (connected to a zombie spawner) before deciding where to place the portal.

I've begun work on a nether rail line. It currently connects the First Hearth and Pillar Watchtower portals. Edit: And now Fort Squidward.

The rail construction ended up blocking the route to @mocman's portal, so I rerouted that through the nearby tunnel that leads to Monumentos.

Server seems to be having issues. I had a connection timeout and now I can't get past the encrypting stage of login. Capacity still says 2/80 for some reason.
